Olivia's POV
"Why did you just let her go to that party? We don't even know where it's at!" I said.
"Babe, you just gotta trust her. Loosen up," he said wrapping his arms around me.
"I can't help it, there are so many bad people out there that could just take her. It's New York City, anything could happen."
"You can't think of it like that. You told me that your mom never let you go out when you were younger, Ashley gets the opportunity to do that because of you. How's that sound?"
"That sounds wonderful," I rolled over and kissed him. I threw me arms around his neck and put my head on his chest. He always knew the right things to say.Ashley's POV
I got out of the taxi and Matt met me on his porch. He had sweatpants and a tank on. I was in yoga pants and a v-neck.
"Hey beautiful," he said pulling me in a hug.
"Hey handsome," I laughed.
"My parents aren't home, they're in Vegas for the weekend," he explained walking in his house.
"Oooh Vegas. What's in Vegas that's not in New York?" I asked.
"I don't know, but I'm just glad you're here."
"Me too, so what are we doing?"
"Netflix, popcorn... The usual movie night."
"Sounds fun," I said. I pulled him to me and had a tiny makeout session. I took out my phone and took a picture of us and posted it on Snapchat. I love that app. It's my favorite.
"I'm going to text my mom before the movie starts," I said to Matt.
"Okay," he replied.
Me- hey, I'm just letting u no that I'm fine.
Mom- thanks for checking in with me. Love you!
Me- luv u 2!
"Okay, now that that's over," I laughed sitting on his lap. I leaned in to kiss him.
"Eww! You have popcorn breath!" I laughed pulling away.
"Well you're gonna have it too!" He laughed pulling me closer to him. We fell asleep watching the movie Grown ups.Olivia's POV
I woke up beside Brian who was still asleep. I ran in Ashley's room and she wasn't there. Oh God, not this again.
"Brian," I said shaking him, "Ashley didn't come home last night." I said putting my shoes on. I tried to call Ashley again, but no answer.
"She's not going to answer you now, she's probably sleeping at someone's house. It's 6am!" Brian said.
"This was your idea, your coming with me," I demanded. He hung his head, defeated, and walked out the door.
"Are you tracking her?" He asked starting the car.
"Yeah, she's at 550 Marion Street." I said matter of factly.
"Where the hell is that?"
"Upper East Side."
"Who does she know that can afford to live there?"
"I don't know, but we're going to find out. Go!"Brian's POV
I couldn't help but think that this was my fault. I let Ashley go out there. If she's hurt... No I can't think about that. She's probably just at some rich kid's house.
We pulled up to this house that was a downgrade from a mansion, literally. It was gorgeous.
"Who the hell lives here?" Liv said slamming her car door. We walked up to the door and started knocking on it.
"C'mon I don't have all day!" Liv shouted. She looked around for a key. I lifted up the mat.
"You were looking for this," I smirked. She unlocked the door and went inside. We walked around admiring everything. Liv walked in the livingroom thing. It was huge. It was at least the size of the squad room.
"Ashley, get up!" Liv yelled. I went to the couch and found Ashley sleeping, cuddled up against Matt.
"Mom?! What are you doing here? Wait, what time is it?" She asked confused.
"Don't act innocent, let's go." Liv walked out to the car leaving me with Ashley and Matt.Ashley's POV
"I fell asleep, I'm so stupid! You have to believe me Brian." I pleaded.
"Yeah, but she's not happy."
"Sir, nothing happened. We fell asleep, watching a movie." Matt said.
"I believe both of you, it's Liv who won't. You both know how she is, I'll talk to her." Brian said. "I'm going to the car, I'll give you a few minutes." He said leaving.
"My mom is never letting me leave the house again, why are we so stupid?" I asked Matt.
"We're not stupid. She's just worried about you. She wants to make sure you're safe. You're lucky to have a Mom who looks out for you," he said.
"Yeah, but your mom and dad are always here."
"Not really, Dad is an attorney now and Mom's an accountant. They're never home."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know." I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. "I gotta go, before my mom thinks you're killing me or something." We both laughed.
"I'll text you later," he said closing his door. I got in the car and waited for Mom to say something. We got back to Brian's apartment and I went straight to my room. Mom hasn't talked to me yet and I'm hoping that she doesn't. I heard a knock at my door.
"It's open!" I yelled. I pulled my phone out and acted like I was playing on it.
"Hey, I figured I should talk to you before your mom does," Brian said.
"Nothing happened, I fell asleep-"
"I know that nothing happened, but you had a curfew. You were supposed to be home at 3am. We didn't know what happened. You could've been hurt."
"But I wasn't hurt! I'm fine and I texted you every hour, until 3. So wouldn't you think that I fell asleep somewhere?" I glared at him.
"The possibilities are endless. Yes, you could have fallen asleep somewhere, or someone took you, you were drugged, raped, beaten, you could've been dead in an alley for all we know!"
"Well, I've been drugged, beaten, and raped before and I survived through it. I think I can take care of myself now." I said flatly. Brian's face fell.
"Ashley, I didn't know. When?" He asked. I thought he knew about this, I thought Mom told him.
"It doesn't matter, it's done. I didn't even have a trial. Can you please leave me alone?" I asked. Brian stood up and walked out.Brian's POV
"Liv, why didn't you tell me what happened to Ashley?" I asked. She was sitting on our bed, watching tv.
"I told you she was raped, why?"
"I didn't know that she was drugged and beaten to almost death! How, when did that happen?"
"Brian, it was a couple months ago. Nobody was there to save her. The guy didn't even go to court."
"Who found out?"
"Elliot picked her up from his house, the guy was Ashley's tutor. She had bruises all over her," Liv stopped talking.
"Kind of how you look right now?"
"Brian, I wasn't raped."
"But he beat you, and you're letting him get away with it."
"I can't," she whispered.
"Are you going to talk to Ashley?" I asked changing the subject, for the better.
"I think we should have him come over for dinner. Maybe we could talk about their actions together, but definitely not tonight. I'm exhausted, I'm going to take a nap."
"Liv, it isn't even noon yet," I laughed.
"Shh, I've had a stressful day." She smirked. I laid down beside her and pulled her close to me.
"I love you, Olivia." I whispered. I didn't get a response back. She was sleeping.
