Axel aka Little Man

            The next morning I was shaken awake by my 'dad'

"Get a shower and get dressed we have to talk about something." He's whispering like I'm some hungover fool

I groan and roll over trying to ignore him

"You have an hour until you need to be downstairs I'll be at the breakfast table." I hear him chuckle as he walks to the door

I regret watching movies and eating junk food all day yesterday with Axel because now my stomach is killing me.

Ignoring my stomach pain I got up and went to the bathroom to get a shower

When I do finally get downstairs and sit down at the table it's only Leo, Axel, and my 'dad' sitting and eating breakfast

"Lilac!" Axel threw a huge smile at me before he continued to eat his food

"Darlin' we need to talk about what we are going to do with you." 'Dad' was speaking while looking at his phone

"What do you mean?"

"You eventually have to go to school. You also need to get out of this house and make some friends."

"Ugh, you're really going to make me go to school? I only have like three months left why can't I just skip that? Most of it will just be testing and if I go to a new school that has a different curriculum then I will most definitely fail it." The second I'm done speaking he is looking up at me and glaring

"I don't recall asking for your opinion. The school I plan for you to attend you would have an extra three years there."

"Three years?!"

"Yes. Don't yell I have a headache."

"You do realize I plan on leaving when I'm eighteen right? You can't possibly expect me to live here when I'm twenty."

"Why can't I expect that? All your brothers do and it's not like there isn't plenty of room here."

"Do you really want me to say it? I'll go to a regular school and stay until I graduate but don't expect me to go to school for an extra three years."

"Too bad I don't care. You are going to this school and you will finish your education there. Later today me and Axel will be taking you to the school for a tour and you will then pick out which classes you want to take."

Is this what Axel was talking about? This man seemed like an entirely different person than the man I had seen before. This man seems colder and I'm not just saying that because he wants me to go to school, his entire personality seems different his suits aren't the grey/brown they used to be they are now just black his tie has no color whatsoever but earlier in the week his tie was some bright color same as his pocket square but now they are just basic black.

Earlier in the week he would never look away from his kids and me but so far I've not seen him look up from his phone for one second. Hell, even this morning when he was waking me up he still sounded sweet and nice nothing like he does now.

"I will be back in an hour and will be taking you to your new school I expect you to be dressed appropriately and waiting for me out front, I will message Leo when I am pulling into the driveway." I can see Leo nod from beside me and then watch him get up and walk out of the room

"Where is he going?" I turn to Axel hoping he will answer but he is just staring at the table looking tense

"Unlike some people in this house, he has a job and other responsibilities that he needs to finish soon." If looks could kill Axel would be dead
