When my 'dad' arrives he decides that I will be riding in the front seat while he makes Leo and Axel sit in the back which they don't seem very excited about.
This is a big car I think it's an SUV I'm not a car person but it's something I see celebrities in all the time black, shiny and four doors.
This school even that's what you can even call it is only fifteen minutes away and the second we pull up to a gate I'm convinced that this isn't a school.
I've never seen a school that's gated has guards all around the outside when we get so close to the gate I'm worried 'dad' scratched his car "name and reason for being here?" A guard asks the second 'dad' rolls down the window
"my daughter lilac is here for her tour of the school." the guard shakes his head at a man in this little building that i'm assuming controls the gates and after a couple seconds both of them nod and the gate opens
"have a good day sir." the guard says and 'dad' just waves his hand then starts rolling up the window
"this is a school? I thought my old school was intense but clearly i was wrong."
"yes this is one of the top schools is the country." when we finally get to a parking spot that i am assuming is designated for parents only by how few cars are here Leo opens the door for me and is holding his hand out for me to take
ignoring it I step out of the car and take in the view of this place, it looks like a castle it even has the tiny mini castles surrounding it, it's obviously well kept the bushes are cut into animals.
The windows are all shiny and clean.? i've never seen a place this big so clean the brick isn't red like i've always seen before it's like a brown ish color.
when we go inside it's even cleaner the floors are a white marble and the walls have pictures of if i'm being completely honest snobby stuck up people wearing the same outfit in EVERY SINGLE PICTURE.
My 'dad' grabs my elbow and leads me into this, office?
it had receptionists but it's nothing like a school office usually there's some sort of glass but not in here. In here it's like three desks with a woman at each desk all three of them wearing the same thing just different color there hair up the same way again just different colors.
The middle lady with red hair and freckles looks up from her typing and standing as soon as she sees us, "hello sir it's a pleasure to see you again, are you here to pick up your son?" she holds her hand out which 'dad' shakes
"Actually no i am here for my daughter, we set up an appointment for her to get a tour of the school. Diana should know we are here."
"oh ok sir let me go see if she is on her way up here."
"thank you Elizabeth." he pulls out a chair that's in-front of Elizabeth's desk and motions for me to sit.
my silent protest if that's what you want to call it, is me not sitting but standing with my arms crossed and staring straight ahead "sit." my 'dad' says his face neutral and not showing any emotion
ignoring him i go back to staring at Elizabeth's desk, I hear a groan and then two hands on each shoulder that drag me backwards and force me to sit the second the hands are gone I try to stand back up but am forced down rude as hell if I don't with to sit then I shouldn't have to I don't bother to turn around and see who's still forcing me down mostly because I don't care
Elizabeth comes back in with a beautiful black girl with blue braids following behind her she wearing a purple pencil skirt a matching jacket with a white shirt underneath that matches the color of her pearl necklace and earrings damn, she even is wearing black pumps is that why she is so tall or is that all natural?
"Well hi! How is my favorite family doing?!" Her accent is thick she's obviously American and from somewhere up north maybe Boston or New Jersey
"My daughter needs a tour and needs to sign up for her extra curriculums, she will take the same three the boys did but the other classes are her choice." 'Dad' says not bothering to answer her questions
"Yes sir!" She turns to me and smiles "My name is Diana, I'm the principal why don't you come with me so we can figure out which classes you want." The hands that were holding me down move off of me and I jump up the second I can
Following after her she leads me to an office that is full of file cabinets with pictures of people who I'm assuming are her family on them
"Here is a list of classes why don't you take a look at them" She passes a paper to me then turns to go behind her desk "and please if you have any questions feel free to ask."
After reading over the list for a third time her door opens"I'm sorry to bother you miss but Seth is in the office again, his teacher said he needed to see you" it's the Elizabeth girl from before Diana sighs and nods her head before turning to me "Would you mind if someone else joins us in here?" I shake my head no as she nods to Elizabeth
"If you feel uncomfortable or anything feel free to let me know." I nod again this girl is kinda weird why would a little boy make me uncomfortable
The door burst open and a guy who I'm assuming is Seth walks in like he owns the place his green eyes glare at Diana he looks like he just walked out a fashion magazine his shirt has the top three buttons undone his navy blue vest fits him perfectly and his tie is loose to the point it's almost undone and his hair hod his hair it looks so soft and curly "Diana. I thought we would be alone." His voice oh my god that does something to me it's not to deep but not to high pitched and it like ugh makes my insides twist
When I finally stop checking him out I look at his face his eyes checking me out when he finally gets to my face and sees me watching him he smirks before covering it with his hand "This is a new girl she is here for a tour I assume you will be quick with what you want so I'm not gonna kick her out." He nods his head still not looking away from me "Names Seth what's yours." It sounds like a question but his tone says otherwise after a second he holds his hand out for me to shake which I do with a smile on my face "My names lilac but please call me Lyla." He smiles at me "like the flower?" I nod and pull my hand away from his head moves besides me pulling out the seat next to me
"Seth I don't have time to deal with you right now so your punishment for whatever you did will be giving her a tour and telling her about the classes she will be taking. Make sure she knows her way around."
He nods as Diana takes the paper I had just finished filling out "I'll be just a second I need to scan this into the system and then grab your schedule!" She smiles at me as she leaves me with Seth "it will take longer than a minute, last time it took fifteen minutes for that stupid machine to create a schedule that worked with the teachers." He whispers moving closer to me
"Good to know..." I give right lip smile back to him he looks behind me as his smile turns into a smirk a very familiar voice sounds from behind me "What are you doing with him?"
When I turn it's the boy who has been rude to me since day one I think his name is Barry or something I'm not sure
