Chapter 12: Tears for Tears

(Soundwave's P.O.V)
They both are sleeping peacefully. Even Laserbeak is sleeping peacefully in my chassis. I continue doing my work, I have a long schedule in front of me and I do not want to bother with doing them later. I could do my work while watching over the humans. To be quite honest, they seem pretty peaceful, they sleep like Rumble and Frenzy a lot. Humans are indeed weird. Now I'm wondering why in the world we're unable to get rid of them despite them being really weak and fragile.

(Shockwave's P.O.V)
This result is illogical... How can it be that even though I already use other worldly information, I still can't find out more about these otherworldly children.... Illogical.. If this keeps going, then I won't be able to accomplish this and continue project predacon... There's something odd about that Kai boy though... He's unusually brave to even sacrifice himself for the two kids.... The reasoning to save the girl is logical since she knows a lot about this world and future events. But why would he save Jack? That boy is pretty much useless...

(Arcee's P.O.V)
"How are we supposed to just stay here when two kids are captured!?" I question. "Arcee, I understand that this is hard, but we must think before taking action" Optimus reasons. "One of them knows nearly everything about our world, nearly more than us! The second is the only human capable of dealing with Predaking! The other is Jack, my partner!" I yell, there's a hint of stress and desperation in my voice when I talk about Jack.

"I understand that Jack is important to you but we can't have you captured too" Ratchet states. "You don't understand what it feels like to keep losing people you care for! What have you lost!?" I yell. I think I hit a nerve when I yell that to Optimus and Ratchet since they didn't reply. "I agree with Arcee" Smokescreen chimes in. "We can't let them do anything to any of the kids" Smoke reason. "I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do right now.... At least not in this situation" Optimus states.

"There's something we can do! What if they're harmed!? What if Jack's harmed!?" I yell. It's not like I want to lose another one of my partners. "If we make the wrong move, then there'll be a higher chance of them getting harmed" Ratchet states. "Yeah, but we gotta do something!" Smokescreen insists. "Smokescreen." Optimus speaks. I could see Smokescreen tensing up a bit.

"With all due respect, Arcee and I will save them. With or without your help." Smokescreen states as he transforms into his alt mode. I transform into my alt mode and we both zoom out of the base. I wasn't expecting Optimus to be such a stone head, Ratchet's normal but Optimus!? Seriously?

(Jack's P.O.V)
I slowly open my eyes, they're really heavy. I sit up and observe my surroundings. Soundwave isn't here, but I doubt that they left us truly alone without supervision. I turn towards Stelle who is still asleep, "Hey Stell, wake up." I call. Stelle slowly opens her eyes and they're a bit red. I could tell that she was crying. "It's Kai isn't it?" I ask even though the answer is obvious. She nods in response.

"We gotta escape somehow, but how?" I question. I could see Stelle smirking before she says, "vents" as she spoints at the vent above us. "How are we supposed to reach it?" I ask. "Parkour" Stelle states. Okay, so to make it short. Both me and Stelle parkour on the walls and we fall a lot of times and somehow she keeps count. She said we fell around 37 times, yikes. But then, we finally did it, barely.

"C'mon, I remember the routes. I think" Stelle states. We both crawl through the vents and we could see some decepticons below us passing by. It's really hard to hold our breaths but for the sake of surviving, it's a must, not should.

(Smokescreen's P.O.V)
"C'mon we're almost there!" I state as we run through the decepticon warship, smacking all the decepticons in our way. Don't ask how we manage to find it, I really don't want to explain it. Left, right, middle, right, right, down, down, left, right, and up. We finally reach the final hallway to the cells. But then, that happens. "AHHHHH!!!" A voice yells as it falls down from the vents with another person screaming.

When both Arcee and I saw who it was, it was Stelle and Jack. "Hey" Stelle greets. "Thank goodness you both came" Jack states. "C'mon lets go partner" Arcee commands as Jack gets on Arcee's alt mode while Stelle gets in my alt mode and we zoom out of there. Yay, happy ending?

(Starscream's P.O.V)
"L-lorx Megatron, please forgive your humble servant." I beg. "You can't fool me Starscream. You allowed the humans to escape." Megatron pauses. "But let's see their despair of knowing their dear 'friend' has been terminated" Megatron states as he smirks, his glare going through my soul. Why did I even join tbe decepticons in the first place? I don't know anymore to be honest.

(Stelle's P.O.V)
"So you're telling me, that Kai has died!?" Bulkhead yells. "They're so gonna get what they deserve!" Bulkhead states. "Yeah Bulk! Crush them!" Miko exclaims. "Kai's dead... Who's gonna be next..?" Both Rafs whisper to themselves in unison somehow. Did they spend THAT much time together? "I still can't believe this" Jack states. "So that's why Kai wasn't with you.." Ratchet speaks.

"Hey, hey, don't be sad now. If Kai is dead, he'll want us to keep going!" I encourage. "You're right, girl! We can't let Kai's sacrifice go to waste!" Amaya chimes in. "PRIME! More children are at risk, do you really think they shouldn't be safeguarded?" Agent Fowler questions. "Fowler isn't wrong, I don't want Jack to die too." June states. "Whatever it is, Amaya, Stelle and I can't go. We were sent here to help save this universe so it'll be our destiny if we die" Rafel states. "Whatever it is, we must keep going" Rafael states.

"They're right Optimus. No matter how young we are, we know that we aren't going to let this universe lose it's hope" I state. Optimus seems to pause for a moment before saying, "you're right"
