It was the first day of school.. again. Stelle wakes up to see Amaya and Rafel still sleeping while Kai is meditating. “Morning!” She greets everyone in the base. Stelle grabs her small backpack and seems absolutely ready to go. Kai finishes meditating and grabs his backpack. Stelle yells at Amaya and Rafel who are asleep, “Sleepy heads! Wake up already!” Amaya screams when she hears that, she even accidentally slap Rafel in the face. “Ouch..” Rafel complains to herself. “SORRY SORRY SORRY!” Amaya shouts and turns to Stelle and Kai who are trying to hold their laughters. “Stell…..” Amaya says and grabs a hammer. “Smokey, we gotta go ASAP!” Stelle says as Smokescreen transforms to his alt mode and Stelle gets in. They then drive quickly out of the base.
“Did she just call Smokescreen ‘Smokey’?” Kai mentions in realization. “They sure are getting close with each other.” Optimus Prime casually says. “She’s so dead at school!” Amaya yells and Miko joins in, “Yeah!”. Optimus Prime then reminds, “Ratchet is busy locating energon and Ultra-Magnus is working on some technology so Wheeljack will be accompanying you three.” It was the first day of school.. again. Miko then yells alongside Amaya, “LET’S GO!”
Ratchet cuts the conversation, “Ep ep ep! Keep your voice!” “Yeah yeah Ratchet.” Miko sasses. Jack and Kai just looks at Miko and Amaya unamused while Rafael and Rafel just looks at them. “Let’s just go now..” Jack says even though he is half awake and half asleep.
A few minutes later, they all arrive at school and saw Stelle waiting for them. “Took you all long enough.” Stelle complains. “You wouldn’t be waiting for long if you haven’t left us in the dust!” Amaya snaps. The bell ring in the perfect time to save Stelle from Kai’s lecture.
“Well Miko, Amaya and I have Englsih class first. How about you guys?” Rafael comments. Jack shrugs it off and respond, “Well Rafel and I have history class while Kai and Stelle have Math class.” ‘Great. I’m not free from Kai’s lecture.’ Stelle thought to herself. “Math class is in classroom 035 on the second floor rather to the left near the bathroom.” Rafael explains. “Thanks.” Stelle thanks Rafael. “We better go now, Stelle.” Kai said and Stelle nodded.
We waved at each other as we all went to the class we are supposed to be in. Kai and Stelle walks to the English class in complete silence. As they went in, they decide to sit with each other near the window. Time went by quickly and the soon the teacher arrived and so does everyone else.
“So today we have two new students. Please stand up.” The teacher commands. Stelle and Kai stands up, attracting everyone’s attention towards them. The whispers can be heard, some whispers that Kai looks handsome while some say that Stelle looks like a nice student but some others just look It was the first day of school.. again. Kai sighs and decides to speak up first, “My name is Kai Fen. I am 17 years old. My birthday is on 7 June, and I come from China. My favorite lessons are Mandarin, and art and culture. I can speak three languages, includes Chinese, Korean, and English. My hobbies are reading and meditating.” Kai can hear everyone whispering about him but he doesn’t bother to try to find out what they are talking about him.
“My name Is Stelle Emerald. I am 16 years old. My birthday is on 22 May, and I come from America. My favorite lessons are math, physics, and algebra. I can speak two languages, including English, and Indonesian. My hobbies are writing stories or poems and playing video games.” Stelle said calmly. ‘I can’t tell them about my transformers addiction and my hobby to street race so…’
“Alright then, please sit down everyone. We will now begin the lesson.” The teacher says and then went to explaining the lesson of math which is rather boring. Around one and a half hour pasts and the bell ring. “You all may move on to your lunch.” As soon as the teacher says that, Kai and Stelle grab their books, put them in each of their own bag and rushes out of the classroom. They both went to the cafeteria in comfortable silence.
As soon as they arrive, they see Amaya, Rafel, Rafael, Jack and Miko sitting in a pretty big table. “Took you both long enough!” Miko complains. Stelle response with a smile and sits down beside them and Kai soon sit down too. They eat their food while chatting with each other.
Amaya and Miko talking about how they are going to pull out a prank to the autobots later on at the base, Jack and Kai talking about how they have to take care of Miko and Amaya as if they were kids while Rafael and Rafel talk about playing video games together back at the base with Stelle reading another Transformers comic but sometimes chiming into the conversation.
After school Amaya, Rafel, Stelle and Kai went back to the base while Rafael and Jack needs to go back to their homes and Miko having to go to an ‘expensive restaurant with her auntie and cousins for a family meeting even though her parents are still in Japan, working. Of course, Miko cannot stand trying to chat with her cousins so she keep on texting Amaya while also sending pictures of the food which makes Amaya respond with ‘yuck!’ as the food of well, rich people are just straight of weird in taste.
Even though Amaya, Rafel, Stelle and Kai are from another universe, they have found comfort in their new universe for the mean time. Though Kai sure misses his family way back at home, he tries to overcome it. In the eyes of Kai, Amaya is just like his little sister back at home, a hazard in the house. It does make him miss home more but he appreciates her. ‘Maybe this isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Maybe I can fit in just fine’ He talks to himself in his mind while watching Amaya and Rafel in an argument on who’s turn is it to play the console as Stelle is trying to stop them from fighting. He takes a sip in his coffee, a smile emerging on his face. Feels just like home…
