Halloween special edition! (Sorry, it's late - and Chapter 5 will be updated very soon! This is starting from the side character's POVs, obviously, because the main characters are currently occupied. This is *cough* definitely not based on our teachers in real life! Also, I apologize for not updating as often - I've been occupied with schoolwork and such. I'll try to update more frequently!)

8:56 PM

Luna (Third POV)

Luna launched up from the floor in the library and checked her phone: 8:56 PM. She had accidentally fallen asleep in the library after college and now she was here after hours. Usually, all the students were at their dorms or apartments by now. She was creeped out beyond words - there were rumors that the library was already haunted.

Luna thread her way down the stairs and to the attendant - but there was no one to be seen. She ran down the vast hallways, which were empty now that everyone was in their dorms or apartments. The only sound Luna was aware of was the wind from outside, and the squeaking of her sneakers. When she arrived at the front door, there were curtains surrounding it. Though when she opened them up, the realization of time pervaded through her. Luna tried opening the door, and each time the handle kept getting tighter and tighter; locked. She heard the wind howling outside. Her heart was beating faster than she could think, and her hands were drenched from sweat. Luna stood, bewildered from the change of events. Next thing she knew, she dropped her bag on the floor and heard the small whisper from her dream in the library. Suddenly, Luna's head slammed against the cold school tiles. Right before everything went blank, she saw a hazy upside-down mop in front of her.

Yvaine

Yvaine stood up and grinned at her work. She had just finished helping the librarian line up the books - which she did sometimes if she wasn't busy. Ms. Smith wasn't here because she was on vacation, and the substitute teacher had left early.

Yvaine headed downstairs and blinked a few times. In front of her was an upside-down mop, but it wasn't leaning against anything. It stood in front of her, straight in the shadow of the library. Yvaine jumped back and flicked on the light switch to the lounge area. She let out a breath of relief after she realized it was her English teacher, Ms. Keys. Her haircut was much worse than usual - with her hair in a messy 'layered haircut'- if you could even call it that. Ms. Keys put her hands on her hips and frowned. "Hi, Yvaine. What are you doing here?"

I could say the same for you, can't I? Yvaine forced a smile -

"I was just helping Ms. Simone line up the books," Yvaine explained. Ms. Keys sighed and rolled her eyes; disappointed that she had no one to scowl at.

"Are you sure about that?" Ms. Keys ran her hand through her hair, and Yvaine couldn't help but snicker. She really did look like an upside-down mop - with her hair scattered all over her shoulders. Suddenly, a sharp smell of blood drifted towards Yvaine, and she grimaced.

"Yes, I'm sure," Yvaine said with a small eyeroll.

Ms. Keys scowled. "Did you just roll your eyes at me?"

"Oh, no - I just got an eyelash in my eye," Yvaine told Ms. Keys irritatedly.

Ms. Keys nodded and put her hands on her hips again. "Also, I didn't appreciate that birthday gift you gave me. Why did you give me glasses, hairspray, and a mirror?"

Yvaine coughed. "Oh, I apologize. I thought you needed them."

Ms. Keys scowled and glanced at her watch. "Detention after school tomorrow -"
