Stranger Danger || Sephiroth x Reader

Argument

"Then complete your mission and stop using me. Take me home and never come back."

Sephiroth's face contorts ever so slightly, barely showing his disappointment. Maybe a bit of..fear? "Is that truly what you wish? To be left alone?" I nod, giving my answer. "Very well, then.. I'll return you to your home."

I glare at him. I hate this man now, I despise him. I can't believe I gave him my soul, my love, my body! It sickens me to think about it. Why in the hell did he think it was okay to use me? It hurts even worse that he's putting on a cold facade, and I can see straight through it. He isn't even trying that hard, he seems too upset. He looks at me with a stoic expression, his eyes tired and hurt. I can't help but wonder if he...if anything was actually real. If he didn't fake some parts of it. I quickly shake the thought from my head though and put my hand out expectantly. "Let's go."

Slowly, Sephiroth takes my hand. He has to teleport me back home, and he has to hold my hand to do it. He looks at me with pathetic, sad eyes. He wants me to tell him I changed my mind, that he could stay in my life. No longer is he the cold, confident man I met in my apartment that day. He teleports us both back to my apartment and I quickly let go of his hand."Leave me alone now. Leave and never come back. I hate you, Sephiroth."

It's almost imperceptible, but his eyes narrow with hurt. "...I've never felt as strongly about a partner as I do you. If you ever need me, please just call. I'll always be a moment away."

I roll my eyes. Does he not understand what "leave me alone" means? This man plans on destroying the goddamn planet, and he decides to fall in love or whatever? He's got to be stupid, right? And now I have to deal with the knowledge that my planet and everyone on it is going to die soon because some pretty alien is going to destroy it with a meteor! "I don't care. Go." I say with animosity. He gives me a soft peck on the cheek, which I wouldn't have allowed if I saw it coming, and then he slowly faded away. I was left in my apartment, reeling after everything that's happened. 

I sit on my bed, and it takes a whole of about five minutes for everything to process and me to start crying. How could this be? I trusted Sephiroth, I loved him. I gave him my trust, my body, and it all felt like he just... used me really. How could he claim that he cares about me after telling me he was okay with killing everyone BUT me? MY family? My friends?

'Sephiroth is a heartless monster.' 

I think to myself, only producing more and more tears that wouldn't stop falling.

—•Sephiroth's POV•—

I haven't slept. I don't need to, sure. I've mostly just been absorbing Mako so I can destroy the planet. After the argument with Y/N, I just... I'm not sure I want to do this anymore. I had rules- one of them was explicitly to not get vulnerable or let her become a weakness. Or fall in love with her. But damn it I broke that rule, all three fucking parts of it! I slowly pace around my... quote unquote, "home" that I made in the Mako. Y/N always called it a 'weird dimension' place. She wasn't entirely wrong I suppose. I have a little screen area thing where I can watch her. I do that sometimes, still. I...miss her.

Sometimes I wonder what she's thinking about when she stares out her apartment window. I want so badly to visit her again. I've checked up on her while she's asleep a couple times, made sure she was okay. Her actions concern me sometimes. Lately she's been going to work drunk or hungover, going to several bars every single night. I can't even begin to fathom why she's doing this. Depressed, maybe? Rebound? Angry with me? I suppose she truly is an enigma to me. The nickname is fitting.

I despise this.

—•Y/N's POV•—

I have no idea who he is. I'm not even sure if I give a damn. I'm fucking hammered and I need to forget the feeling of Sephiroth. I need to forget how good he made me feel.


Aaaand that is how I got here, bouncing on some stranger's cock that I met at a bar I frequent. He bought me a drink and took me back to his place. I've been pent up lately and I needed to release some stress Sephiroth caused, so I just went with the flow....Yeah not my finest moment, I'll admit. My mind is filled with thoughts of Sephiroth rather than the stranger I was with. How could he lie to me like he did? How dare he? Suddenly I feel sick to my stomach, and my pace slows a bit. The stranger beneath me notices and grabs my hips, forcing me to stop completely.


"What's wrong?" He asks,  his eyebrows furrowed in concern. "We can stop if you want, I won't force you to keep going if you're not up for it." His words surprise me. We're both wasted and are complete strangers, yet he still has the decency to care about my opinion. It's not everyday a man actually has this level of self control.


I feel bad, but I decide to take him up on the offer to stop. I'm not feeling up to continue anymore anyway after thinking about him. "Yeah, I'm sorry..." I tell him as I move to get off his dick. He releases his hands from around my hips so I'm able to do so. "Hey, it's fine. If you don't want to continue then I don't either." Fuck, this guy was so nice. I do want to continue, I just feel like I can't. It's not his fault, either. I decide I should probably inform him of that so he doesn't feel bad or something.


"I promise it has nothing to do with you, I just- I've been going through some things and I thought I was ready, but apparently I wasn't-" He cuts me off with a laugh as he gets up off the bed. His member's already beginning to soften. "Like I said, it's fine. Don't worry about me." I let out a soft sigh of relief. "Good, I just- I mean you were fantastic, like you aren't bad at ALL-" I continue, rambling a bit. He picks me up suddenly and carries me bridal style to the bathroom. He lets out a small scoff of amusement and replies, "Thank you? Thank you. You weren't bad yourself."


Then he sets me down on the toilet and begins running a bath while I pee. He doesn't look at me as he runs the bath. This is probably the most practical aftercare I've ever had. "I'm so sorry I forgot to wear a condom, shit-" The stranger says with realization in his voice. "Uh, if you stay the night I can buy you a Plan B or something... or I could run to the store real quick while you bathe... you know what I'll just do that."


He steps back after setting the temperature of the bath to where I want it (he has me check it with my hand) and covers his eyes, giving me privacy on the toilet. Which is.. odd considering he was just inside of me literally like less than two minutes ago. Polite, however. "I'm going to put your clothes in the wash and bring you some spare clothes, okay? I have some of my sister's clothes around here since she stays over often...you guys are about the same size so I'll bring you a shirt and some pants. I'll make sure your underwear is done first for you as well. I'll bring the clothes in just a sec." With that, he turns and leaves quickly, shutting the door behind me.


I get in the bath and close the curtain. Reluctantly, I allow myself to close my eyes and relax in the steaming hot water. After about ten minutes, I hear the door open. "Here, I'll lay the clothes on the sink and your clothes are in the wash. I'm going to go buy you a morning after pill so you don't have to worry about that. I'll be back in a bit." He leaves and shuts the bathroom door again. After another minute, I hear the front door swing open and then close.


Wow, this guy is fucking nice as hell. And he didn't even spike my drink. ...Okay so the bar is on the FUCKING FLOOR. Okay.
