Eggman: You're faster than I thought, but I've got a plan to take over Mobius with this invention.
Sonic: Take over Mobius? Have you been hitting your Grandad's cough medicine again?
Eggman growled, irritated.
Eggman: The worst part of this dance is the same old joke. Wanna hear mine?
Sonic, curious, played along.
Sonic: Hit me, Egghead.
Eggman: What do the dead and living do simultaneously?
Sonic: A lie?
Eggman: Right, but it's YOUR BROTHER TAILS.
Metal Tails descended, shocking Sonic. Eggman gloated until Sonic swiftly ended it.
*Sonic grabs Eggman's throat, a crack, and Eggman drops.*
Sonic: Game over, Egghead. Let's go, Tails.
Two days later, guilt weighed on Sonic for killing Eggman. Turning to Tails for help, Sonic found a voice modulator test in progress.
Sonic: Tails, I need your help.
Tails, eerily robotic, responded.
Tails: Did you need something, Sonic?
Sonic: sought advice on coping with guilt?
Tails: Confessing to a priest might help.
Sonic: Not a church person. Any other ideas?
Tails had none. Sonic left, troubled.
In Westopolis, Sonic stumbled upon a church, recalling Tails' suggestion. A mysterious note led him to a confessional.
Sonic confessed to taking a life accidentally, seeking forgiveness. The nun's eerie response heightened Sonic's unease.
Nun: Killing is a sinful offense. Naughty ones like you should be punished.
Sonic, uneasy, tried to leave, but the door was locked. Discovering the sinister truth, Sonic broke free to encounter Rewritten-Sin.
Sonic: Who are you?
Rewritten-Sin: Welcome to your new home, sinner. I've been watching you. You can call me Rewritten-Sin~

Sonic questioned her resemblance.
Sonic: Why do you look like me?
Rewritten-Sin: Because I've been watching you for a very long time. Before I got cast out of heaven...
Sonic: Cast out of heaven?
Rewritten-Sin: But that's a story for another day. The first time I saw you, I couldn't get enough. Just watching from afar wasn't enough. I had to have you all to myself, my plaything forever.
Sonic's eyes widened as he tried to comprehend.
Sonic: So everything that happened, that was all you?
Rewritten-Sin: Correct. Aren't you a smart and adorable one, hehe.
Sonic's fear intensified. He looked around, desperate to escape, and sped down a dark, empty hallway.
Rewritten-Sin: I didn't know you liked to play tag, darling. Ready or not, here I come~
She transformed, maintaining Sonic's height with lanky limbs and three red rings on each cuff. Sonic, horrified, tried to escape, but Rewritten-Sin's dark transformation proved unstoppable.

Sonic: This can't be happening!
She quickly caught up to Sonic in a matter of seconds ripping both his legs off as Sonic, she transforms back to her female form as Sonic struggles lying in a pool of his own blood.
Rewritten-Sin: You're mine now, body, vessel, and soul.
As Sonic faced this grim fate, the suspense intensified, creating a chilling atmosphere.
