Chapter 7: The Homecoming Hangover

Niall
"Emily?" Hanna said.
"Emily?" Spencer said.
"Emily? Em ae you up here?" Aria asked.
"Emily." I shouted as we were going all around school trying to find her. Spencer tried turning the light on but it was flickering. Spencer then switched it off.
"Um why don't we split up?" Spencer asked.
"Um why don't we not?" Hanna asked.
"Hanna you come with me." Spencer said.
"Aria go with them I'll go alone." I said.
"Niall." Hanna said. I then got my phone out.
"Who are you calling?" Spencer asked.
"I'm trying her until she picks up." I said. We then heard a phone ringing. We then walked towards it and we made it to the science lab and we found Emily's phone. Hanna picked it up.
"Emily?" I asked. We went in and it was trashed and we saw blood.
"Is that blood?" Hanna asked.
"Don't go there." I said feeling physically sick.
"Why not she was up here with Toby." Aria said.
"Please." I said.
"Niall?" Mike said and I turned round and he was there.
"Mike?" I asked.
"I thought you were in the toilet?" Mike asked.
"I was um I'm sorry Mike just go and wait for me in the car park." I said.
"No." Mike said.
"Mike please." I said.
"Just go." Hanna said and I nodded. Mike then dropped me off home and we were currently sat in the car in silence.
"Are you going to tell me what you and my sister were doing?" He asked.
"Mike I already told you I cant." I said.
"How are we supposed to have an honest relationship?" Mike asked."
"Don't make me the bad guy." I said.
"I'm not I really like you Ni and I don't want to waste what we have over something as stupid as honesty." Mike said.
"It's not stupid and I understand why you want it." I said.
"Then tell me the truth please I wont tell anyone." He said and I sighed.
"Okay, but you don't tell a soul and that includes Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Aria." I said.
"I'm listening." he said and I sighed.
"Ever since you guys came back from Iceland and we became closer with Aria again someone has been blackmailing us or they know all our secrets something that only Alison knew and we think that this person killed her. They go by the name A and we have no idea who it is well we think we might have someone who has a motive but....anyway it's brought us closer together and we have this cop breathing down our necks thinking we killed Alison and we think Toby did." I said.
"I'm sorry Ni." Mike said and hugged me.
"Remember don't tell a soul." I said and he nodded. I then got out of the car and went to bed.

The next day:
We found out that Emily was indeed okay and that Toby had dropped outside of the hospital. I went to see her with Spencer and Aria but I said I would wait for her to get there.
"It was all in his shrinks file, Toby and Jenna had a relationship." Aria said.
"Way beyond step-siblings." Spencer said.
"Yeah they...were involved." I said.
"Romantically?" Emily asked.
"I doubt I would call it romantic I doubt she had much of a choice." Spencer said.
"And that's what Alison saw when she threw the stink bomb." Aria said.
"Yeah she threatened to expose Toby which is probably why he wanted her dead." I said.
"And not just her-us. You." Aria said.
"You don't believe us?" I asked.
"I do I just don't get it if Toby killed Alison and wanted to do the same to me then why am I sitting in my bed and not in a body bag?" Emily asked.
"What did you say? I asked.
"I told the police that when I went out for air I tripped." Emily asked.
"Why didn't you just tell them he attacked you?" I asked.
"I didn't want to say anything until I talked to you guys first." Emily said.
"Well the truth is in the file." Spencer said.
"She can tell them everything now. "I said.
"She cant tell them everything you have to leave out the file." Aria said.
"Fine leave out the file." Spencer said as Hanna walked in.
"Who knew Rosewood had this many cops I went to put this back and they were outside the doctors office talking to Toby's shrink they know this was stolen." Hanna said holding out the file.
"Can I see that?" Emily asked. Hanna handed her the file.
"If anyone saw me go into that building last night I am so hosed" Hannas said and Aria's phone rung.
"Is that from..." Spencer asked.
"No my mum, ask your father if he plans to take the car in this week, my parents have gone from not talking to not texting this sucks, I better go home." Aria said.
"Yeah we should probably go too." Spencer said.
"Uh no I just go here." Hanna said.
"Fine you stay." I said.
"Hey what do I do with that?" Hanna asked.
"Just shove it in your locker tomorrow we'll figure it out later." Aria said.
"Feel better Em." Spencer said and Hanna looked at me.
"Give me the file," I said.
"Wait I'm reading." She said. I sighed and sat down. Hanna sat on the bed.
"I that the car you won outside?" Emily asked.
"Okay how did you go to homecoming crack your head open and then win a coreolla in a raffle." I asked.
"I need to talk to you about your karma." Hanna said.
"Why did you guys think I would take Maya to the dance?" Emily asked.
"What?" Hanna asked.
"You guys that I wanted her as my date why?" Emily asked. Hanna looked at me.
"A sent us a picture." Hanna said.
"Of you and Maya kissing so can we just ask I mean you took Toby to the dance but then you took that picture with Maya." I said
"I think I know what I want but if I say yes to Maya everything would change you know it would." Emily said.
"Yeah it would." Hanna said.
"You wouldn't have to pretend you're someone you're not and you could be happy." I said.
"But what if I'm wrong what if i'm not that person?" Emily asked.
"Emily you're not signing a contract you were Emily dating Ben and now you're Emily dating Maya" hanna said.
"We love Emily no one cares who you're with." I said.
"Really? Have you met my parents? Mr and Mrs military and their perfect daughter." Emily said and we just smiled.
