Chapter 5

-Flashback-

"Megan, what's wrong?" Megan dashed right passed me, tears flooded her eyes. Quickly I ran towards her, through the kitchen, and out the door. She was sobbing, "Meg, what is wrong?"

"Traitors, they are both traitors," She responded through sobs.

"Megan what are you talking about? Maybe we should go inside. It is freezing out here."

"He cheated!" She shouted, "He has been cheating on me with her!" Jack cheated on her, but with who?

"Who? Who did Jack cheat with?"

"That selfish little brat Natalia! I don't care if it is her birthday. I want to leave. Now." Oh my gosh. How could Natalia do this. We have all been best friends for years. We were like the three musketeers, and she stole Megan's boyfriend.

"I understand. Let me just go get our coats." I went to go grab our coats and then met Megan back outside.

I saw her there shivering, tears just streaming down her face. "Come one. Let's get in the car." Once we were in the car and driving, I knew I needed to speak. "How did you find out?"

"I saw them snuggling on Natalia's bed. They noticed me but didn't care enough to come after me." Megan said, still trying to catch her breath from crying.

"I am so sorry sweetie. I can't believe that skank."

"I know. I really though Natalia was my friend."

"I was actually talking about Jack, but the word describe Natalia too." That made Megan crack a small smile."

-End of Flashback-

"You would never guess who I ran into today! That stupid Natalia and the freaking idiot Jack! They just waltzed right up to me like nothing ever happened!" I was angrily throwing my arms around causing my purse flop around in the air. I was so irate that I didn't realize the Lees were still at the apartment. So much for a good impression.

"Talking about awkward moments. This is very awkward for me right now, so excuse me while I go lock myself in my room. Please, continue to enjoy yourself and act like that outburst never even happened. Thank you!" I said with and awkward smile and wave. Then I started heading for the safety of my bedroom.

"Don't be ridiculous. We understand how annoyed you are right now. Who wouldn't be? Megan informed us about Natalia when it happened." Mrs. Lee spoke. Gosh, she is so sweet. Then again first impressions can be tricky. She might turn out evil and she could try to kill me. Hopefully that is not the case.

"Oh thank goodness. Now I don't feel like a total lunatic."

"You still admitted to being at least somewhat a lunatic," Megan oh so nicely pointed out.

"Seriously after the kind of day I have had that is what you are telling me. That I am still partially a lunatic. How rude of you."

"Hey. It is my birthday tomorrow. You should be nice to me."

"Honey I got until tomorrow to be nice."

SOOOOOO SORRY GUYS! It is a late update I know. I am just busy with summer reading right now. I have 2 essays to right and 4 books to read. Yay school (note the sarcasm). This chapter is also pretty short too. I just felt like I needed to update so I posted what I had. Hopefully chapter six will be better. Thank you for your support!!!!!! :)
