New York City, New York
Fall, October

It was October and I was super excited because my favorite holiday was Halloween ever since I was a kid and I just enjoyed everything about it. Anyways, tonight was Josh's art exhibit tonight and Mr. Kiszka and I were going to be attending it together and I was really excited because I knew that Sam, Danny, and his sister Veronica were going to be there and his parents were making a special trip out just for Josh. Which meant that I was going to get the pleasure of meeting the Kiszka's parents, I was actually kind of nervous because I didn't know what they were going to think of me since I worked for their son. Anyways, I was wearing something more warm since in New York is got cold really early and I decided that I wanted to wear a baggy sweater with a pair of leggings and my knee high black boots. Jake and I spent so much time together that I was starting to get worried that people who start thinking I am his girlfriend more than his assistant, but in the past couple of weeks we have tried to keep our hands off each other, but it had been so hard because we see each other 5 days out of the week, sometimes more if he has a really big case that he needs help with on the weekends. I realized that I had been neglecting Kylie and we decided that we were going to plan a day and go out to the clubs again which made me really excited. I was currently at my desk which I had rearranged because I wanted to actually focus and get things done when working with Jake, so I turned it to face away from him, but if he needed me I could still see him.

"Hey there stranger. What are you working on now?" Jake whispered in my ear, spooking me, and he kissed my neck and I chuckled and I moved away from him because as much as I liked how flirty he was, we needed to be professional at work.

"Mr. Kiszka, I am doing work for you so that you stay organized and also going through emails." I said and he kissed the spot on my neck that I loved and I turned to look at him and he looked happy and since he wasn't sick anymore he looked a hell of a lot better than a few weeks ago.

"But you look so good over here. I could fuck you on my desk real quickly if you'd like." Jake said and I smirked as I looked at him and I shook my head and he touched my collar bones underneath my sweater and I stood up and I walked over to the coffee pot and he sat in my chair.

"Mr. Kiszka, we are at work. You need to get it together." I said as I scolded him and he huffed and walked back over to his desk and pouted as he looked at me and I shook my head because he was acting like a child and I took my coffee and sat down at my desk.

"Fine, I guess I will be a big boy and do my job. Miss Jensen, when I am picking you up for the art exhibit tonight?" Mr. Kiszka asked as he looked at me and I smiled and I shook my head as I sipped my coffee and I looked at him to make sure that he wasn't joking or not.

"I will be home after work, it's at 8? Pick me up at 7:30." I said as I looked over at him and he smiled and nodded and I went back to going through emails and looking at case files that either are worth Jake's time or they weren't and there were a lot.

By the time that lunch came around, I had packed my own lunch and I walked over to the mini fridge while texting Liam asking how my mother was and he said that she was doing good and my father was back to working on the farm. I went to sit down and Jake stopped me in my tracks and he gave me more files to give to Mr. Kishton on the floor below and I hurried to run those to him and I walked back into Jake's office and there were flowers on my desk and he was still sitting behind his desk.

"Jacob Thomas Kiszka, where did these come from?" I asked as I stood in front of my desk tapping my boot against the tile floor and I looked at him and he had that shittin grin and he looked up from whatever he was doing and I rolled my eyes.

"I have no idea, Miss Jensen, why don't you look at the card. That I think is in there somewhere." Mr. Kiszka said and I sighed and I searched for the card that was in the large boquet of flowers and I pulled it out of the card holder and I smiled when I read what was inside.
