Chapter Fourteen: A Full Birthday Month

Michigan
Spring, April

A few weeks later and it was April just like that and things at our Michigan office were going quite well and everyone got adjusted to everything wonderfully. Jake and Sam go and visit the New York office every so often to make sure things there are going well and to make sure that the building hasn't burnt down and to make sure old clients are doing well and things of that nature. Anyways, today was Sam's 25th birthday and I had a small surprise for him after work since he has been through enormous stress with organzing the office and everything else in between. Jake had asked Josh to be his best man and Sam and Danny were going to be groomsmen and surprisingly since Jita only had one sister, she asked Ronnie and I to be bridesmaids and we agreed and I knew that Ronnie had a trick up her sleeve. Anyways, I was setting up the house since I took half a day and I was going to surprise Sam with a decorated house and I baked him a cake and I talked to Mrs. Kiszka and she said that she would bring dinner over here and everyone was going to come here and surprise him and I was excited about it. Anyways, Jake was in on this and he told me that Sam was on his way to the house and I smoothed out the light blue colored sundress I had on and I heard a car pull into the driveway and the front door opened and I smiled as I looked at Sam.

"Happy birthday my love!" I said as I looked at him and I jumped into his arms and kissed him and he pulled me in for a hug and I pulled back and I showed him all the decor that I had been putting up since this afternoon.

"Well you've been busy. Thank you so much, babe." Sam said and he wrapped his arms around my small body and I grabbed his hand and we sat in the living room and he looked at me and I smiled as I looked at him.

"You are welcome. I have a few more surprises for later. For now, here is this." I said as I stood up and I slipped my dress off revealing frilly red lingerie and I physically thought that I saw Sam drooling and I smiled as I walked closer to him and he reached out to touch me.

"Fuck, babe. Holy shit, you look fuckin gorgeous." Sam said and I smiled as I looked at him and I grabbed his hand and I had him follow me to our bedroom and I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss and he grabbed my hips and pushed me into the bed.

A few hours later, yes hours, we finally got ourselves decent and we went downstairs since we heard a knock on the front door and I answered it and Sam stood next to me and it was Karen and Kelly and they were carrying food into the house and Sam looked at me and smiled and I felt happy that he was surprised.

"Happy birthday, baby boy!" Karen said and she came over and hugged Sam and he chuckled and kissed her cheek and I welcomed them into the house and they got settled into the kitchen and Sam looked at me and he kissed me.

"Thank you, babe. I really appreciate this." Sam said and I smiled as I looked at him and then there was another knock on the front door and I went over to get it while he talked to his mom and dad and I opened the door and smiled when I saw Danny and Kylie.

"Hey you two, come on in." I said as I welcomed them in and I hugged Kylie and then Danny and Kylie stood with me while Danny went in to say hi to Sam and I closed the front door and she grabbed my hand.

"I need to talk to you. I think I'm pregnant." Kylie said and my jaw dropped and I looked behind me and I had an idea of how we could sneak out and get a pregnancy test for her and I didn't know Frankenmuth too well, but well enough to know where I can go to the store.

"What? Why do you think you are?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest and she looked like that she was going to cry and I reached my arm out and I rubbed her arm and she breathed and I knew that this was probably scary for her.

"Well, Danny and I try to be careful and we are a lot of the time, but I changed my birth control and I forgot that I needed to wait a few weeks before it started working and you know we ended up having sex and I'm late and I'm freaking out." Kylie said and she paced around and I told her to calm down and I looked back to make sure that Danny or Sam or Mr. and Mrs. Kiszka didn't sneak up behind us.
