Part 2 - Night 1

As Hyojin, Alan, Lina, and Cow explore their new house, find foodstuffs and cash, and so much more. The day became night. Time really flies! Don't you think?

Hyojin: "Wow, it's nighttime already? It only felt like a few seconds ago when we first came."

Lina: "I know, right?"

Alan: "So, what's for dinner tonight?"

Lina: "I don't really know."

Cow: "Well, you guys are in luck! I just ordered pizza for the four of us. I know I usually like fries, but I thought of switching it up a bit."

Lina: "Thanks!"

They wait a while, and soon, the doorbell rings.

Hyojin: "The doorbell's ringing. I'll get it."

Hyojin walks up to the front door and opens it.

Delivery Man: "That'll be 20$!"

Hyojin reaches into her pocket and pulls out the cash.

Hyojin: "Here it is."

Delivery Man: "Thanks! Any cent counts, you know?"

The delivery man happily goes onto his motorbike and drives off.

Hyojin carries the boxes to the dining table.

Hyojin: "The pizza's here!"

Alan, Lina, and Cow: "Let's go!"

They all ate the pizza.

Lina: "That pizza was delicious, don't you think?"

Alan: "Couldn't agree more. I feel so full."

Hyojin and Cow: "Us too."

Hyojin: "Let's go wash up and head to bed."

They all wash up in the kitchen sink (for some reason).

They all head out of the kitchen, but as they were making their way to the stairs, the lights started flickering.

Cow: "Oh no, the lights are flickering. Find a closet NOW! Rush is coming!"

Lina: "Calm down, Cow. This isn't the Hotel."

Cow: "Oh, right."

Hyojin: "Uhh, why are the living room lights still open?"

Alan: "I don't know. Why don't we go check it out?"

They all head to the living room.

They all sit, but Lina notices a timer on the TV.

Lina: "Emergency broadcast? What's going on?"

Hyojin: "I don't know, but this could be serious."

Hyojin: "Calm down, Lina."

Lina: "OK."

The alarm sounds on the TV, as the timer had finished.

"This is not a drill, I repeat. This is not a drill."

"Villains known as Purgers are on the loose, invading every neighborhood and breaking into people's homes. This is not a drill."

"Do not make any contact with them as they are proven to be lethal."

"They wear a smiling mask with a black suit that has an icy blue bowtie and a rose."

"Their leader is Scary Larry."

"If you see him, you need to run or hide. If you try to fight or even make the simplest of contact with him, you will be defeated."

"Stay inside. Protect your families. Keep doors locked and windows closed. Use boards to secure your windows and doors."

The broadcast ends.

Alan: "Wait a minute, a Purge?"

Lina: "Yeah, that sounds like it."

Hyojin: "This is just worse than surviving a hotel full of entities."

Cow: "Yeah."

Narrator: "... Hopefully, this is nothing to worry about."

Hyojin, Alan, Lina, and Cow: "Nothing to worry about?! There is literally an attack going on out there!"

Narrator: "You're not wrong, but this could be a false alarm."

Hyojin: "Maybe you're right, but we're still not letting our guard down."

Narrator: "Good for you, I guess..."

Narrator: "It's bedtime... Sleeping gives you energy. Go to bed.

Hyojin: "Alright."

They all head upstairs.

While Hyojin and Lina take the Pink room, Alan and Cow take the Blue room.

Will they get attacked?
