Rise of Sean the Multihunter

Chapter 1: New Arrival

Hi, I'm Sean, a Shadowhunter born to protect humans from the magical world. I thought I was the only one until I met Clary Fairchild, a shadowhunter who runs an institute for new shadowhunters. She asked if I was interested in coming to the institute to learn how to train and hunt like a real shadowhunter. I accepted the request and a few minutes later I was surrounded by people like me. She introduced me to Simon a vampire, Luke a wolf pack leader, Magnus a high warlock, and Alec, his sister Izzy and his parabatai Jace who are fellow shadowhunters. Turns out that the institute also trains new vamps, wolves, and warlocks and not just shadowhunters. As soon as I got settled in I started my training as a real shadowhunter.
My first training session was decent to say the most, but I was at a disadvantage because I didn't have any runes, symbols that give powers, to activate during training. When I was done training I decided  to try my luck with making friends with the warlocks. When I met my second warlock she asked if I could bring an object to her so she could try a spell on it. I said sure so I went to my sleeping quarters to grab a ring from my side table. When I brought the ring back to her she grabbed it and said thanks. As soon as she grabbed the ring from my hands, my hands started to glow with a blue/orange aura so I put my fist out in front of me and a ball of fire went flying into the wall. I was shocked to see fire come out of my hand. When I put my fist down the fire disappeared and I was shaking with fright because I thought I was only a shadowhunter. A couple moments later I passed-out and everything went black.
When I woke up I was getting checked by Clary and Jase in the hospital wing. They walked out of my room and I heard them talking outside and it turns out I'm not only a shadowhunter but I'm also a warlock and a werewolf. When they came back into my room Luke and Magnus were with them. " He needs the pack, '' Luke said to Clary. " No, what he needs is the warlocks," Magnus said to Luke. " Let him decide where he goes, okay" Jace said, breaking up the fight. Then they all looked at me waiting for me to say something. I thought about who I should go with. If I go with Luke I could learn about what it means to be in a pack but if I go with Magnus I could learn about magic, this was a difficult decision but then I remembered a phrase that my teacher taught me, si si ni sawa. I told them that I want to stay at the institute and they seemed okay with that answer. Before they left Luke said that I'll always have the pack and Magnus said that I should be proud of who I am. Then they left so that it was just Jace, Clary and I in my room.
They looked at each other than at me and then they said something shocking. They asked if I wanted to be their son. I looked at them with a surprised look and asked why. " Well unlike us you can make new runes, activate current runes without a stele, turn into a wolf, and use magic it's because you have mundane, angel and demon blood in you" Jace told me as he was bringing me some water. " I have what?" I asked. " You see when a child is born with mundane, angelic, and demon blood they have the power to bring peace to the world" Clary said as she sat next to me on my bed. After learning of what I was and telling them that I already have a loving mother that raised me, I went outside to get some fresh air but the thing was that once I stepped outside I was surrounded by Seeles.
"Meliorn, what are you doing here?" Izzy asked while coming out of the institute. " I'm here to see if the rumors were true about a being with mundane, angelic, and demon blood." Melleorn said while looking at me. " I can assure you the rumors are real, I'm guessing the queen wishes to see me" I acknowledged him. " He is smart, yes the queen would like to speak with you in her kingdom" Melleorn answered while walking towards me. " Only if they can come" as I pointed at all the people I had met, Luke, Simon, Magnus, Izzy, Alec, Jase, and Clary. " As you wish, come follow me" he said as he walked into the forest.
As we followed him I felt like I was where I was suppose to be. I started to hum but then I started to sing and I didn't notice. " There's gotta be another way out, I've been stuck in a cage with my doubt, I tried forever getting out on my own, Every time I do this my way I get caught in the lies of the enemy, I lay my troubles down I'm ready for you now, Bring me out come throw me in the dark now, Everyday I'm by myself I'm breaking down, I don't want to fight alone anymore" As I was singing everyone was shocked at my voice. Once I stopped singing I looked up to see everyone staring at me. " Where'd you learn to sing like that?" Izzy and Clary both asked me. " I'm self taught actually, I practiced in my free time" I replied back to them. They just looked at me with a shocked expression until Luke and I smelled someone nearby. " Quiet we're being watched" Luke said while he sniffed the air. " Fles rouy wohs' ' I said, making a spell that revealed it to be my little sister. " Easy guys it's just my little sister, what are you doing here Sarah?" I asked her while crossing my arms. " Bru bru help I don't know what's happening to me?" she said all freaked out. " Woah calm down tell me what happened" I said to her while kneeling on the ground. " I was playing in the woods when I saw a wolf. It came closer to me but then it scratched me, and when I got home mom made me mad and I think I turned into a wolf. '' She said, all freaked out so I went up to her and hugged her. " Sorry Sarah, Luke I'm sorry to do this but can you take her to the pack please she'll be safe there" I said to Luke while still hugging my sister. " Of course the pack will treat her nice, come on pup let's go see the pack" he said while leaving with my sister. " Remember Sarah si si ni sawa" I yelled at her. " We are the same'' she yelled back at me.
After a while we appeared in the seele's palace and on the throne was the seelie queen. I was the first to kneel as everyone looked at me weird. " At least one of you has polite manners to bow towards a queen," the seelie queen said. As everyone else kneels or bows I get up and ask my question. " I'm sorry your majesty but why I'm I here?" I asked politely. " You are here to see if you are worthy of your gifts." she says before patting a seat next to her. As I go sit down the seeles bring out a scepter made from what looks like ebony and gold. " This is the staff of will. If you can hold it without being burned then you are worthy and shall keep the staff afterwards" she said while the seeles handed me the staff. As soon as I touched the staff it began to glow a beautiful midnight blue. " I see, you dear boy are worthy of your gifts but it seems you are hiding something from us. Please show us what it is, '' she said as she got up. I handed the staff to the queen and got up as I stood in the middle of the room I focused and my body was setting itself on fire and my head turned into a flaming skull. " Impossible, how can this kid be the Ghost Rider?" Magnus asked, surprised to see me transform. " Easy, I gave it to him but unlike normal he has full control of his body and mind," the seelie queen said while handling the staff back to me. As the staff was in my hands it didn't burn but instead turned the fire blue and I returned to normal. " Thank you, your majesty, for the gifts, but I think it is time for us to go, see you again soon your majesty. '' I said as I was walking away. " Call me Cathy, Sean '' she said with a smile. I looked back with a surprised and honored expression before leaving to go back to the institute.
Meanwhile in Alicante, Idris, a shadowhunter is taking news to the magical bounty hunter. The shadow hunter knocks on the front door of a canopy for The Mortal Mirror also known as the All Seeing Lake. "Come in'' someone inside said. As the shadow hunter walks in, he notices the hidden forest canopy is made up of the upper branches and leaves of the tallest trees in the forest. These branches and leaves are often thin and wispy, and they are not as dense as the lower layers of the forest. The canopy is a mix of evergreen and deciduous trees, with the evergreen trees having a more consistent and lush appearance throughout the year. The hidden forest canopy is a world of light and shadow. The sunlight filters through the leaves and branches, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor. The shadows of the leaves and branches create a complex network of patterns and shapes, adding depth and texture to the forest. "What do you want hunter?" the bounty hunter said, his voice laced with venom. "I brought news from the demons. There's a bounty on a person named Sean" the shadow hunter said, holding out a wanted poster. "Put it on the table and leave hunter" the bounty hunter said with disappointment lacing his voice. "Cyrus, isn't this the kid that you're trying to figure out where to take him?" the shadow hunter asked the bounty hunter. "Yes and i've gotten nothing" Cyrus replied, never taking his eyes off of The Mortal Mirror. The shadow hunter then left the canopy, more shaken up than when she arrived. The bounty hunter had some kind of presence about him, making him a mysterious person but a reliable one.
Why was I given this bounty? It's not even that much because I've been paid a lot more for a bounty. The highest I've been paid for a bounty is 50 drachmas. A decent amount but the person I did the bounty for wasn't that rich anyways. I appreciate Luna for bringing me this but I don't understand why the demons want this kid dead. Well, this is around the time that I head to the bar so I guess I'll get headed that way.
One hour and fifteen minutes later, Cyrus made it to the bar and walked in. As soon as he walked in, everyone went silent because of his unnatural presence. "Did you hear, Cyrus's boy has a bounty on him from some demons" a ravenette haired woman says to a dark skinned woman. "Really, how does he feel about it?" the dark skinned woman asks back. "Why don't you ask me yourself, Malachite?" Cyrus asked, surprising them both. "C-Cyrus, buddy, what are you doing out of your canopy?" the ravenette haired girl asked. "Oh bloody hell Mazikeen. You should know why I'm here by now" Cryus said to the now named bartender aid. Everyone behind Cyrus starts muttering, mumbling, and whispering about a new bounty that was just put up. Cyrus caught the words '500 drachmas' and he snapped around, looking at the bounties name. What the hell did the kid do this time? Cyrus thought to himself, grabbing Blood Bath, his sword and gets ready to walk out after grabbing the bounty from the Bounty Board.
Meanwhile at The Institute, New York City, Sean was walking up the steps to The Institute, getting the feeling as if someone was watching him. From a mirror in his room, Sean sees sparks come from under a tree but nothing there. As he's watching, he sees a chicken bone, a rock, a pencil, a pair of sunglasses, and lastly, a pair of boots thrown out of the shadows. All of a sudden, a fire ball comes barreling towards Sean's bedroom window. After the glass shatters, Sean sits on the window sill and looks around for where the fireball came from. Then, he spotted amber eyes in the distance, under a tree. "Hey! Is everything ok in there Sean?" Simon yells on the other side of the door. "Yeah! Everything is ok in here" Sean replied, jumping out the window only to be caught mid-air by some sort of magic.
