SLIGHT ABUSE AHEAD–
A week passed and nothing changed. A week passed and her pain increased. A week passed and days changed, people changed but her pain never changed. A week passed since she heard his voice. A week of complete sadness. A week of numbness. A week of humiliation and A week since he got married.
A week of complete tortur. Ayesha life changed so much in a week, that people were unable to recognise her. Her life and her dreams had shattered so badly that it bleed her heart every moment. He not only married the women who left him but he had the audacity to message her, Telling her that he got married. The same day he was to marry her, he married but another women.
Ayesha was left broken. She had nothing to do and nothing to live for. She was tired being a perfect daughter and when she finally had a chance on being imperfect with someone who was imperfect as well, he broke her to the extant that it was hard tending her back. Her father was cussing himself, he shouldn't have agreed on marrying his daughter to someone ten years her older, he shouldn't have agreed on marrying his daughter to a divorcee. Sikandar couldn't help but blame himself for his daughters misery.
Even now as he sat in his study with his head in his palm and his eyes rimmed red, he was again blaming the day he picked the call of ajmal.
Noor-Ul-Ain walked inside the dark dimly light room and turned the light on, making it bright. Sikandar groaned "band karo roshni Noor-Ul-Ain" but his voice was unheard as his wife placed the trey containing two cups of tea and some medicines.[Turn off the light Noor-Ul-Ain]
"Apne apko kosne se apki purani ayesha wapis nahi aegi, ye bat ap khud bhi jante hain" said Noor-Ul-Ain, snapping out two panadol for him, knowing his constant head ache. Giving the medicine to him she passed him water and looked at him in his eyes "jaen or us se bat karen. Aik hafte se door hain ap us se Sikandar. Use samjhaen k jo hua hai acha k lie hua hai. Agar kal ko in ki shadi k bad pata lagta to acha nahi hota"
[Blaming your self wont being old ayesha back, you know it]
[Go ans talk to her, you haven't talk to her in a week. Go and make her understand that whatever happened, it happened for good!]
Gulping down the medicine, Sikandar nodded and scoffed "pata nahi konsi manhoos ghari thi jo maine haan kia. Sahi kehte the abba marhoom mere, be akal hun mai"
[I dont know what cursed time it was when I said yes. My late father was right, I am an idiot!]
Sikandar shouted at himself in anger, he couldn't control himself. Every night he sleeps after the door of his daughter, in case she would need him and all he could hear the whole night would be her pained crying. He would want to hug her but would stop himself in utmost guilt. He was the killer of his daughter happiness.
"Aisa nahi hai Sikandar. Bajae ye k ap ayesha ko samjhaen, ap apne ap ko kos rahe hain?" She questioned in disbelief "to kya karun aini mai? Mai be bas hun!" He exclaimed.
[Its not that sikandar, not that you should make her understand, you are blaming yourself?]
[What should I do aini? I am handtied]
"Nahi, ap bebas nahi hain. Apne khud kaha tha k Ayesha sab sahi kar deti hain to use is baat ka yakeen dilaen, k sab sahi hai Sikandar" he looked at his wife for longer minutes.
[No you aren't! You used to say that she makes everything okay, make her believe it sikandar ]
She suddenly appeared to be old, he could see the traces of wrinkles on her once smooth and tight skin, he could see the lines of worry on her forehead and could see the greying hair on her head, he nodded and stood up and went away, leaving Noor-Ul-Ain to sigh in pain as well.
