Yokai Watch x Reader

Halloween Special

     2nd person POV

     You, Nate, and Whisper were preparing your costumes for Trick or Treating. "What are you supposed to be, Whisper?" You ask. "Me? I'm a...Ghost!" He exclaims, covering himself in a white sheet with two holes infront of his eyes. "Lame." Nate shrugs. "Seriously? All right then, what are you supposed to be, Nate?" Whisper questions.

"I'm a vampire! Bleh bleh bleh!" Nate says proudly. Whisper rolls his eyes. You glance over at Jibanyan, bursting out into tears almost immediately. He had been wearing a half eaten chocobar costume. "Hey guys." He scratched his butt, walking over to us. "Oh, Hey Jibanyan." Nate said casually. Whisper looks Jibanyan up and down. "Is that seriously your Halloween costume?" He scoffs.

Jibanyan furrows his brow. "Atleast mines original." Whisper gasps, clearly offended. You stood up, wiping the tears from your eyes. "I think Jibanyans costume is amazing." Nate looks at you, putting his hands on his hips. "Well, what are you supposed to be, Y/n?" He raises an eyebrow. You smirk, spinning gracefully before striking a pose.

"I am H/c (halloween costume)! Cool, right?" Your grin was basically glowing. "Sweet! I wish I came up with that." Nate says. "Indeed. It is very...unique." Whsiper says. You look at him. "Why did you say it like that." You say emotion-less. "Like what?" He tilts his head a bit under his sheet. "You called it "unique." People only call things "unique" when they don't actually like it. Do you not like my costume?" You raise an eyebrow. "I think it's okay, but it could use a bit more...touch ups." He shrugs. Your eye twitches.

"Touch ups? How about I touch up your face!" Before you can beat whispers cheeky turd eating grin off his face, Nate comes over and pins your arms behind your back. "Oh my. Anger issues much?" You can basically hear his grin. "Shut up you off-brand oompa loompa ghost!" You spit in his face. "Come on Whisper! We're supposed to all be getting along!" Nate furrows his brow. "Yea, Nyate's right!" Jibanyan chimes in.

Before another word can be spoke, Nate's mom calls down from downstairs. "Nate! Y/n! Your friends are here!" Nate let's go of you and rushes down stairs, you and the others following after. As you reach downstairs, you can see Bear, Eddie, and Katie standing there. "Hey Y/n! Hey Nate!" Katie smiles. Nate blushes, stuttering. "O-oh h-hey Katie!"

Katie was a zombie cheerleader, Eddie was a mad scientist, and Bear was a panda. They were a very...odd bunch. But hey, so we're you and Nate. "Hey guys!" You wave. "Well? What are you all waiting for? Go get some candy!" Nates mom ushered you all outside. You began chatting and walking to the first house.

                 3 hours later

After going from house to house, you and Nate separated from the game. "Man, I can't wait to get home and see what candy I got!" Nate exclaims. You nod. "We should all trade candy!" You glance over at Whisper and Jibanyan, only to notice them frowning, a disappointed look on their faces. "Whisper? Jibanyan? What's with the long faces?" You tilt your head.

"We didn't get a single drop of candy..." a tear slips down Jibanyans cheek. You frown as you all reach Nate's house, opening the door and stepping inside. You all walked into his room, setting your bags on his bed. You glance at Jibanyans and Whispers empty candy bags, and then at yours and Nate's. 'Y'know what? Screw it.' You take yours and Nate's candy, dumping half of it into the two yokai's bags. Their faces light up. "No one should come home empty handed on Halloween. Not even yokai." You smile. Nate's mouth widens. "M-My candy...." he drops to the floor dramatically.

"Y-Y/n...this is the most nicest thing anyone's ever done for me!" Jibanyan hugs onto you, bawling his eyes out. Whisper follows in suit. "Wahhhh! You must be the kindest thing this world has ever seen Y/n!" He weeps. You push them off you, looking at your now drenched costume.

You may not have gotten a lot of candy, but atleast you got to have fun with your friends!

HELLO! Yes I'm alive and very not dead. Sorry it's been 3 MONTHS since last update. I just haven't had the motivation to write. But it's almost finished, so don't worry your little clenched cheeks! Also, yes, I know it's November, but I had originally planned on doing this on halloween, but I was busy Trick or Treating. Sooooooo.....HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
