Y/n POV
Few months had passed ever since Izana confessed his feelings for me. And now it's Christmas!!
As Mika and I was decorating the Christmas tree, Izana came along with Kakucho as always. "Welcome back uncle!"
"I'm back..." he replied as he went towards me and kissed me on the cheek then walk to Mika. Even though it's been months I can't still get used of him kissing me on the cheek everytime he gets home.
It's still makes me shy...
"by the way, Izana Punta tayo mamaya ng simbang gabi"(By the way, Izana let's go later at the Night Mass) I said
"oh yeah, it's starting today. I forgot about that..."
"Uncle... What's 'sihmbhang gahbeh'?" Mika ask as she look up to Izana whilst I chuckle from her cuteness. I crouch down and hold her hand "Simbang gabi which mean is Night Mass. It's a tradition here in the Philippines. a nine-day series of Masses in anticipation of Christmas and to honor the Blessed Mother" I explained to her as she was a bit confused as I once again chuckle. "so we're going to church every night in nine days?"
"yup"
"I'll just stay home with uncle Kakucho" she stated which made me taken aback. I was speechless and don't know what to say hearing that.
Izana then as well crouch down beside me as now we both match Mika's height and took her other hand.
"Mika, do you have a wish?" he ask as Mika nods
"You know Mika, there's folk belief here that if you complete the nine-day Night Mass God will grant your wish" he said whilst Mika's eyes twinkle. "really?! Is that true?!" she ask excitedly
"Of course"
"Then I'll come to the Night Mass tonight! What time is it? Aunt Y/n?!"
I chuckle from this sight, seeing her so happy, she probably has a lot wish.
Since Izana and I had already official our relationship Mika had already started calling me "Aunt" which I don't mind. It's just that she was like expecting it
NO ONE POV
TIMESKIP
"WOAH!" Mika's eyes once again twinkle as she saw the glimmering Christmas lights from the church. "It's been a while since I last attended simbang gabi" Izana stated looking around the church. "Mika stay with us all right?" Y/n said to Mika as she nods, holding hands with her. "Yes, Aunt Y/n!"
"Let's go so that we can have a seat already..."
They went in the church as Both Y/n and Izana hold Mika's hand at each of their side.
If you look at it from behind, they look like a family.
TIMESKIP (AFTER)
"Kanina tuwang tuwa ka sa misa, Pero tinulugan mo lang yung buong misa"(earlier you we're so happy about the mass but you just slept the whole mass) y/n chuckle as Mika was sleeping peacefully on Izana's arms. "Well we can't blame her. Wala siyang maintindihan sa sinasabi ng pari ni-isang salita"(well we can't blame her. She didn't understand anything what the priest said even one word) Izana stated as he also chuckle.
Y/n opened the door of the car on the backseat as Izana carefully lay his niece down. "Let's go home now"
As time pass, Y/n was wide awake, caressing Mika's hair as she was resting her head on y/n's lap. Izana notice this when he look at the mirror at the front. "You can sleep for a while, I'll wake you up when we're home"
"No, it's okay. Di pa ako inaantok"(No, it's okay. I'm not sleepy yet)
"What's the problem?"
"huh?"
"halata sa mukha mo kanina may iniisip kang malalim"(Its clearly on your face that your thinking something deep earlier)
"I had a dream last night..." y/n said as she look at Izana whilst he's eyes focus on the road. "what's it about?"
"I died..."
"..."
The car was silent for a few seconds before Izana spoke again "It's just a dream... Don't worry about it"
"yeah..." y/n then once again look at the window as she watched the cars that they pass. Izana look at her through the mirror then back at the road again.
A few moments later, Izana stopped the car in front of the park. "Uh... What are we doing here? Mika is already asleep" Izana step out of the car and opens the door where Y/n is as she notice that the haitani brothers we're behind his boyfriend along with Kakucho. "Kakucho, take care of Mika... We'll be back before morning..." he stated as he helped y/n step out of the car. "yes boss"
"let's go, mahal" he interwined his hands with hers as a small tint of blush was on their cheeks. "Let Kakucho do his work." His last sentence as Kakucho left with Mika on her arms on his car along with haitani's. "but it's my job to take care of Mika though?" she replied with a yet confused tone whilst Izana laugh at her reply.
"Let's take a walk first"
As they walk around, they both watch the Christmas lights glimmer and also couples who we're taking pictures together or have their moments. "If your worried about your dream, that you died? I'll follow you even in hell" he said as he look at y/n with their hands still holding each other.
But y/n pulled her one hand and hit his arm. "what was that for?!"
"Don't say things like that! Ayoko pa din mamatay noh!"(Don't say things like that! I don't to die yet you know!)
"but what you said there was cool though hahaha"
"I'm not worried about it. It's just that, I never expected these things happen to me. Like me finally freed from depths and us... Getting in a relationship..." she added as heat continue to spread through her face.
Izana chuckle and kissed her, off guard. "Mahal na Mahal kita..."(I love you so much...) he said as he pulled himself from her. "M-Mahal din kita..."(I-i love you too...) she replied, she was blushing so much that she couldn't look straight at her boyfriend.
Izana lean closer as she once again kissed her but this time she had now kissed him back.
"Merry Christmas Mahal..."
"Merry Christmas din(too) mahal hahaha"

So yeah Merry Christmas everyone! Although I don't usually celebrate Christmas but still!
This chapter was actually rush cause I wanted to time it with Christmas yeah so please don't mind my errors in writing these.
