Commander Keith Shadis made Erwin the new commander of the Scout Regiment. I smile with excitement as my friend gets his new rank. Erwin, with a somber expression on his face, accepts the weighty responsibility with a firm nod, knowing he will step into a pivotal role in the battle to save humanity.

After the ceremony, I approach him with a celebratory smile, "Congratulations, Commander." Erwin's somber expression softens slightly as he turns to me with gratitude in his blue eyes. "Thank you," he gives me a hug of appreciation, tight and reassuring. "We have a difficult path ahead of us, but together, I believe we can turn the tides. Together, we will gather the brightest minds, the fiercest warriors, and the most innovative thinkers, all united in a common purpose: to face the Titans and take back what's ours." His words resonate deeply within me, filling my heart with a renewed sense of hope.

"And I will follow you into battle without question, Erwin. I believe you will be a great leader for the Regiment and you will inspire others just like you inspire me," I look up at him with a smile. Erwin's eyes gleam with gratitude as he returns the smile, his voice steady, "Thank you for your trust, Amelia. I will do my best to live up to your faith in me."
This time, I give him a hug. Feeling our embrace, a wave of determination washes over me, knowing that together we will face whatever challenges lie ahead. As we stand there, holding onto each other, a strange tremor runs through the ground beneath our feet, interrupting our moment of unity.
Screaming can be heard outside as people scramble to find safety. The once calm and peaceful streets are now filled with chaos and panic.
