That Predicted Love Story (Princeton Fanfic)

Chapter 2

As they walked towards the stage, Princeton turned and blew me a kiss. You could hear the fans going crazy over them. 'MB,MB, MB' the chants were continuous. As soon as they were within their eye sights, that's when they lost it completely. I was already used to them going crazy, but this was something else. It was their first tour of the year, so they did have a reason to scream and rejoice. Prodigy, the lead singer, spoke to them and they screamed louder. Prod was like a poet, his voice is so quiet and soft, but they didn't care, they came for the music and the stage activities. They sang their song from their new album 'All around the World'. The fans already knew some of the songs and you can tell they were enjoying it. "Gotta keep her on the low" I sang along, I liked that song, my dad did too, he was bopping his head to the beat.

Afterwards four fans were called on to the stage. The lucky ones. They already had tears in their eyes. They were shaking and were just surprised. I know why; seeing MB daily stills gets me hype. The boys were doing their thing on stage and holding the girls' hands and serenading them. My eyes were fixed on Princeton. Despite the fact that we were both single, I still saw him as mine and only mine. I had to control my facial expression. First of all, my dad was right next to me and 2nd of all, it was all part of the show, it's not as if they are going to exchange numbers and call each other continuously. I hope not anyway!

Finally the show was over. The fans took pictures with them, they got their merchandises signed. Everyone was happy and tired at the same time. I was just happy that Prince and his stage girl didn't exchange numbers. We were going out for a meal afterwards. We bumped into the OMG Girlz whilst we were at Taco Bells. It was Ray's night to choose. He saw his baby Star and went over and they shared affection (does that even make sense?). We sat with them. The girls and I were really good friends. We could tell each other anything and keep it between us. Being the youngest, I was treated like a baby, I did not like it. They knew that I liked Princeton, I didn't even tell them, they just knew. When I sat next to Prince, they gave me that look. You know the type where parents suspect something and their suspicions were right? Well, it was that look.

Dad went and ordered and we all tucked in. Dad sat with the OMG mamas. They laughed and talked, they were always able to get dad to show his feminine side. We teens on the other hands just gossiped and talked about things our age. Baby doll however, was the one to start with the intense questions. "So, Prince, when are you going to ask out Gianna?" Almost as if planned, Prince and I dropped the food from our hands. The rest agreed with Baby doll's question. Heck, so did I! He was nervous, you can tell. He was sipping his drink faster and refrained from making any eye contact with anyone. I laughed so loud because what he was doing was uber funny! Hah! Everyone looked at me puzzled. I just continued laughing. What else should I have done, cry because some guy didn't like me enough to ask me a simple question?

He replied. My food was really cold, not exaggerating either, but he replied. "But, ain't we already out? Besides, we've been out plenty, we've been to the studio, to the after parties." The rest of the group just shook their heads embarrassed. Heck, so was I. I knew deep down that's not what they meant. Just like I knew deep down that he was a good guy, just shy. Well, I hope he was just being shy. We ate our meals in silence after the whole awkwardness thing. Baby doll tapped my leg underneath the table, I looked up at her and she mouthed the word 'Sorry'. I just smiled. It didn't hurt me as much. I guess I was just thank full over the fact that I now know how he feels about me than just playing with my feelings.

Besides, you know what they say: 'Once a player, always a player'. Guess I just realised that. Thanks for the wake up call Princeton.
