'Daddy knows best. Listen to Daddy. He's the only man in life that won't break your heart. ' So they say. But it seems that 'Daddy' broke my heart deeper than I could ever imagine. The guy that watched me grow and crawl and talk and express my self through food destruction, was that same man that watched me cry and heard me curse and heard me speak the words of love. He was that same man to make the magic disappear. You can't blame him completely, it's my fault too. I guess I should've listened, but where's the fun in that? I guess I should've kept my distance, kept it strictly business, but I'm not his boss. I don't sign his weekly payment, I don't give him warnings. I'm just a girl that listened to my heart for once and went with my gut instincts for a change. I'm just a girl that had the opportunity to break the rules and I took it. I didn't think twice, I didn't want to reconsider, I wanted to feel what the lucky ones felt. For once in my life, I didn't want a reason for being grounded. Is that too much to ask? I'm just a girl that listened to my heart for once and went with my gut instincts for a change...

It was a busy week for everyone. I remember it well, Mindless Behavior had their first tour of the year. They were really excited, so was I. I helped on set, choreographed some of their dances, helped on makeup. This time it was different, something felt different. Good different, like adventure was just around the corner. I was called into hair and makeup and there he was. I always got butterflies just from looking at him. We've known each other since we were 13 and I still couldn't get over how prettyful he was. He liked me too- yes, it's that kind of story. When I walked into the room, he smiled at me. Not just any smile, but one that showed he meant it. I smiled back, then I smiled at Ray too because he was looking in our direction. He knew something was going on between us, oh well, so he thinks. But we know better.

Nadia- head of hair and makeup- told me to sort out Prince, without thinking twice, I accepted the challenge. And it was a challenge with his Afro Puff. Combing his hair always made me calm and made me stop thinking for a lifetime before landing back to Earth. The sweet smell of lavender and mint lead me to explore the rain forest that was his hair. He always let me play with his hair, I had nothing against the permission. As I combed his hair, he attempted to be brave, he held back his grunts of pain and forced a smile. I laughed every time. He realised this and laughed too. Combing his tights coils, he held my hand tighter each time I pulled a strand or fifteen. His hands were soft, him gripping them onto mine gave me chills. Despite the hurt that he was facing, he held me softy, almost caressing them. His reflection smiled at me, mine smiled at his. Before he could say anything to me, dad walked in. You all probably know him as Walter, but I know him best as dad.

Rubbing his hands together and breathing into them, attempting to make them warmer he gave them an order. "Alright, you guys all ready? We got a school of screaming fans waiting for you guys." They all stood up simultaneously, straightening themselves out. They looked really hot. Like Ray Ray says, "It's hot, it's cold outside, but it's hot!" Dad smiled at me and raised his eyebrows as if to gesture 'Let's wing this'. He was nervous, you could tell, he was shivering and slapping his face and rubbing his hands and just generally fiddling. Being the dream daughter that he saw me as, I made him his favourite sweet black coffee. It always calmed him down, Smiling at me, Princeton came from behind and nudged me for a hug. I did as proposed. Sipping on his ironic coffee, he dragged the noise of slurping making it very obvious he found the hug too long. Princeton and I both acknowledged this and stopped. However, every moment felt good.
