Examples:
BSL- British Sign Language
FSL- Filipino Sign Language
LSF- French Sign Language
ASL- American Sign Language
This book is about ASL (American Sign Language).
You will be learning all words and numbers from the American Sign Language to talk to anyone, including the Deaf Community.
The Deaf Community consists of those deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who share a common language, common experiences and values and a common way of interacting with each other and with hearing people.
So when you learn ASL, you can be part of the Deaf Community.
