After dancing a little while longer, I look and see a very lost Marie. "Oh shit! Someone's rolling."
"I think...yeah, definitely." I laugh but that quickly dies down when I hear something.
"Luke...Annie...Please help me." I hear a voice in my head and shake my head to try and make it go away. I tell both Marie and Cate that I'm getting tired so I decide to walk towards the couch where we were all at. I almost fall but someone catches me. I open my eyes and see female Jordan in front of me. "Hey, you okay?" I'm about to answer but sudden screams erupt around the club and the music stops. Jordan instinctively wraps both arms around me and we both look around. I gasp as I see Andre in front of a bleeding woman. Male Jordan now grabs my hand and guides me towards Andre where we meet with both Cate and Marie. I stare wide eyed at the woman who's bleeding all on the ground. I stand there frozen, the sound is muffled and I'm in a trance but then Luke snaps me out and I don't even notice the tears falling down my cheeks.
Luke wipes them away and kisses my head before grabbing me by my shoulders and guiding me out the club as quickly as we can.
That woman...she's dead isn't she...we let her die.

"It's not our fault...right?" I mumble as Luke and I walk back into campus without looking suspicious. We all decided to separate and meet up in the morning so it wouldn't seem like we were suspects in a murder- it was an accident. Andre didn't want to hurt anyone. "No, of course not Annie..." Luke cups my face and tilts my head up to look at him. I see his green eyes and he sees my watery ones.
Luke let's out a breath and briefly licks his lips before speaking again, "You remember when I fell off a tree when we were younger- before our powers came in. That day I was crying like a baby, whining about how the wound on my ankle hurt. Mom told us we couldn't play in that tree since it was rotten already but we did anyways. I was bleeding and we knew mom would yell at us for doing something she told us not to. But you patched me up before mom and dad came home from Sams doctor appointment- the babysitter didn't even notice since she was always on the phone chewing her obnoxious..."
"Double bubble gum." We both laugh because of how we both say it in sync. Luke takes a moment and looks at me, "Point is...you've always been a hero to me Marianne...you'll always be a hero...so don't ever forget it." I hug my twin brother tightly and he does the same.
At the time I didn't know it would be the last time we would ever warmly embrace each other like this.
I wished I had known.

"Did you see!?" I shout as I slam Jordan's door open. I scream as I see John from next door naked and having sex with a different student. I conjure a spear and throw it towards them, the let the spear just barely miss them and hit the wall behind them as I yell, "Get the fuck out shitheads! The fuck are you doing in Jordan's room! huh?!" They quickly scatter off with their clothes in hand.
