Chapter 10

The next day Jimin was woken up by series of messages. He was a little shocked because not many people texted him this early and even if he had an emergency patient, the hospital staff usually paged him. There were texts from various people including:

Hobi...(1 message)

Kai...(4 messages)

Jungkook...(3 messages)

And a lot of his colleagues. Even his brother texted him, which was strange. He decided to open Jungkook's message first. The message said

"Heyy Chim! Wanna hang out later tonight?" 8:20am

"I need to talk to you about something" 8:20am

"Or we can reschedule... I don't mind. But if not text me!" 8:20am

He smiled at how uncertain Jungkook seemed even through texts and decided to reply to his messages with a confirmation that he was free to meet after his shift ends and accompanied that text with a red heart emoji. Next he opened Kai's chats,

"Oh my GOODDDDDD!!! You are looking absolutely gorgeous in the photo Jimin!!!! I will have to commend myself because this is the best outfit I have styled."

"Like I mean ofcourse you also carried the outfit with so much BEAUTY AND GRACE... But I genuinely didn't think you would be on the cover of Vogue Korea with that handsome hunk."

" Jungkook looks amazing as well. But hell!! I cant take my eyes off you"

"Please meet me because I need to know EVERYTHING!"

Jimin's POV:

I was absolutely over the moon with the compliments but then I noticed that Kai mentioned something about me being on the cover of vogue along with Jungkook. I decided that might just be a mistake from Kai's side so I thought I could verify it. I immediately got up and got dressed so that I could go to the nearby farmer's market, get my groceries and visit the nearby magazine shop to get the latest issue of Vogue Korea.

Once I reached the farmer's market, I got myself all the essentials I needed and headed for the shop. I could see the shop a few blocks down the street and once I reached there I asked for the issue. The seller looked at me with surprise and started mentioning that I was the person on the cover. I held the issue in my hand and I still couldn't believe it. I agree both of us looked absolutely magnificent but, I hated that my approval was not taken.

I had to speak to Jungkook about this...

*TIME SKIP*

(This is a conversation happening between two people somewhere in Seoul)

On the top floor of the headquarters of some company, two people were furiously pacing around the room. "How did we not notice this?" one of them asked the other.

"Maybe it was just a fluke? What if they are not actually together?" The other one commented.

"Oh please! You really think after Jungkook chose not to be accompanied with anyone, this was just a fluke? This was a previously planned event which you should have known, but I am sure you must have done nothing to find out." They spat with anger.

"Believe me all this while I was doing everything in my power to find out if he has someone in his life and you think I wouldn't tell you if it was him?!" Now coming right in front of the other person he started gripping their neck with force not letting any air seep in through the lungs, he was a force to be reckoned with and he said this," Do not EVER doubt me. I am more powerful then you think I am and I will shut anyone down who comes in between my path, even if it is allies like you." Finally he let go of the person and left the room.
