One Man, Two Faces

As night fall, he looks up at the dark sky fill with millions of stars and the Moon alone shine so bright as though blessing the earth, all he can heard is sound of crickets and some wild animals other than that night is peace like he want it....

He scans his surrounding with his piercing blue eyes one last time before he went under the pitch black tunnel but darkness was no problem to him. His blue eyes grow bright in the darkness as he walk forward deep inside under the tunnel, he can clearly see in the darkness without having any problem as he is the creature of the night. When he finally arrived at the end of the tunnel, he saw the bright light coming from the stairs; He slowly walks towards the stairs.

And as soon as he reach above the stairs, he saw the man sitting on the big chair like throne and place look like a big castle but it is a mansion made up of stone. The man was wearing a black hood hiding his face and his both hand was rest on the arm of the chair....when the man feel the presence, he slowly lift his hooded head and look at the man standing in front of him and said, "Storm" with his deep dangerous voice.

"Greeting Father" Storm said as he slowly lift his white hood revealing his half face and bow down his head as well as kneel down on the ground showing his respect to his father...

"Welcome back son" the man said with his superior voice and he gesture him to stand up. Storm silently rises up and looks at the man, known as his father. Man slowly lifts his hood and reveal his face....there is a long big scar on his left side of his face like somebody has tried to slice his face, the scar start from his forehead leaving his eyes unharmed and continue through his cheek.

His piercing blue eyes scans him from head to toes, as he smells something off in him, "you smell like human and other unpleasant familiar smell is coming off from you?".

"I assure you father, it's nothing you need to worry, I just encounter some human near the forest that it...." Storm said half truth with his stern voice trying to make him believe...

The man narrowed his eyes as he said, "then how do you explain this, other unpleasant smell which don't belong to human?" looking carefully at his son searching for any sort of lie on his face...

"Father I came across with some other creature like dog, so I believe that unpleasant smell belong to that creature" Storm shrugged not giving much importance...

"I believe you're not lying son because you know very well that I'm not good with liars..." the man said sternly while Storm remain standing there like a statue with his stone face, when he remain silence, the man continue, "Anyway I've another issue to discuss here, tell me Storm are you keeping your eyes close to Shadow because as far as I know you're not".

"That's not true father, I'm trying my best to keeping my eyes on Shadow" Storm said gritting his teeth and glare at his father.....

"Then try harder next time Storm" he said without humor in his voice as he narrowed his eyes at Storm....

"You know very well that I'm trying harder here than you think" Storm retorted...as his eyes get darker with rage...

The man darkly chuckle "Really, then tell me why all of the sudden Shadow is protecting that human girl because as far as l know, he hates humans...so why?"

"That's what I've been trying to find out" Storm said calmly as his eyes change back to normal...

"And here you want me to think that you're trying harder....but guess what? You're not" the man again chuckle but his blue eyes darken as he speak his next words, "I told you to keep an eye on him...which mean you have to be there wherever he go, I want to know everything means everything...." He said last word slowly....
