Elaya's POV :

As my best friend let me out in front of my apartment, I entered. The eerie encounter at the club was still fresh in my thoughts. Just the thought of it made me tremble. I had expected the night to finally calm down, but I seemed to be mistaken. It's driving me insane.

When I turned on the lights in the apartment, I suddenly saw Thy standing in my living room.
He still appeared agitated, and his gaze was ominous.

Surprise and shock coursed through me as I saw him there, for he looked directly into my eyes without averting his gaze even once.

"How the hell did you get here?" I exclaimed, my voice trembling with surprise and frustration. Thy turned to me, and his eyes burned with anger. However, it didn't change my annoyance towards him.

"I just told you to go home. You just don't listen to me, damn it," I could hear the anger in his voice, yet at the same time, I felt hurt by his intrusion into my private life. "You keep pushing me away, and the next moment, you reappear. Why? This is my apartment. You can't just show up here and boss me around."

He stepped closer, his expression serious. "You are in danger, and you're acting as if this is a game. I've tried to protect you, but you ignore everything."

My own anger surged. "You can't just barge into my life and expect me to follow your instructions. I still don't know who you are and what all of this is about."

Thy came threateningly closer, and I felt the cold resistance of the wall behind me. The intensity of the conversation and his spatial approach merged into a oppressive atmosphere.

"How do you expect to protect me when you can't even explain why I'm in danger?" I exclaimed, my hands pressed against the wall. The tension between us reached a peak, and I could feel the heat of his presence.

Thy looked at me intensely, his answer hanging heavily in the air. The silence became unbearable as we held each other in a moment of confrontation and uncertainty. Thy paused for a moment before responding with a mix of frustration and concern, "You just don't understand how dangerous this world is. There are powers and forces you can't comprehend."

I pushed off the wall, my own determination growing. "I understand that you're not telling me anything, that you speak in riddles. I can't blindly follow everything you say."

His eyes flashed, and he stepped even closer, the distance between us seeming to diminish. "Elaya, you have to trust me. This threat, it's real. You're in danger, and I can't allow anything to happen to you."

My heart pounded wildly, the intensity of his words and proximity feeling overwhelming. "Why should I trust you? I barely know you. You appear out of nowhere, save me, and then play the protector. It doesn't make sense!"

Thy sighed, a hint of exhaustion in his eyes. "It's complicated, Elaya. It involves your father. I'm trying to protect you, even if you can't understand it. But you have to follow me, without asking questions."

The tightness of the conversation and the space around us seemed to steal the air. "I can't do that," I replied stubbornly. "I won't just follow my fate without knowing why."

An expression of determination crossed Thy's face, and he reached for my hand. "You have to do it before it's too late. Time is running out, and danger won't wait."

My hand trembled in his, but I pulled it away. "I won't run away from something without understanding what I'm running from. I need answers, Thy."

He just looked into my eyes, unsure of how to respond.

"I can't just go on like this! You come in here, speak in riddles, and expect me to follow. I need clarity!"

Thy's eyes widened suddenly due to my agitation, but before he could respond, it burst out of me: "Either you explain everything now, or I... I can't bear this anymore!"

The tension reached its peak, and in an impulsive moment, I grabbed Thy's shoulders, ready to express my desperation. But suddenly, before I could continue, he passionately pressed his lips to mine.

A moment of shock ran through me, and the world seemed to stand still. The heat of his kiss flooded my thoughts, and for a moment, I forgot all questions and worries. I reciprocated. It was a heated, impulsive kiss that stirred both desire and confusion within me.

As he pulled back, I saw in his eyes a mix of apology and a silent confession. I just looked at him, unable to think about anything else. The silence between us was broken, and the air seemed electrically charged.

"This is more complicated than I can explain to you," Thy whispered, leaning his forehead against mine. "But I wanted you to know that it's not easy for me. The danger surrounding you is real, and I can't bear to lose you."

The mix of emotions within me continued to simmer, and my thoughts were a jumble of desire, confusion, and a hint of understanding. "But why? Why can't you just tell me everything?"

Thy sighed and gently stroked my cheek. "Sometimes words are not enough. But I promise you, I will clarify everything. Let me protect you, even if you can't understand it. You won't be able to process it."

The fragile silence between us persisted, and as I tried to process the impulsive kiss, questions and uncertainties continued to press into my thoughts.
"You have to promise me that you'll explain everything," I demanded with a spark of determination. "I can't just stay in the dark."

Thy nodded, his gaze intense. "I will explain it to you, Elaya. But not now, I don't want to drag you further into this world."

Oh oh, what's coming next? Will the kiss be discussed further? We'll have to wait and see. 💞
