"So where is that picture from?"

"I wouldn't know," Leeseo mumbled.

"Well, what are we going to do now?" Liz exclaimed.

"Excuse me," A knock at the door startled everyone.

"Ah, yes.." The man looked at the piece of paper. "By the way, you will be practising for your debut song, get ready soon."

"Okay, thanks." Yujin shut the door after him. "We should get practising now."

Wonyoung agreed.

After practice, Yujin talked to Liz for a long time.

They had a lot in common.

"Hey, uh, I have to go Liz. I think you should talk to Rei, she has something to ask you.." Yujin ran off.

"W-wai-"

"Liz," Rei appeared behind her.

"Why did Yujin leave like that, ugh."

"Is that all you care about?" Rei teased, eyes locked only on Liz.

"What did you want to say?"

"I have a note for you." Rei handed it to her.

Liz, can you go to the dance with me tonight?

"There's a dance?" Liz looked stunned. "But, of course! I love you."

"... I thought you knew?"

Liz shook her head and felt like she disappointed her.

"What? But you had to buy a ticket! They're all sold out now.." Rei showed Liz a picture from her phone that she screenshotted.

It was a really expensive ticket and she had to show up because everyone had bought them.

"So I can't get it anywhere!?" Liz panicked.

"I don't think so.."

"Then what will I do? We have to go as you said, or we'll make a bad impression on the staff and new trainees.."

She thought.

"It's fine Rei... I will just find one."

"Really?" Rei said.

"Yes, I will." Liz put a fake smile on her face, convincing Rei.

Anyway, Rei wanted to go and she only cared about Rei's happiness.

"See you tonight!"

Rei's voice faded away in the distance and Liz realised she wouldn't find one anywhere.

Why did I do that? Now I can't go. Rei could have helped me but I said I would get one!

Liz wandered home gradually that night, knowing she couldn't do anything about it, or lie to anyone.

She laid down on her bed in a star position and just thought for a moment.

Liz took so long to get home, the dance started in 2 minutes.

"Rei can just have fun without me." She shut off her phone and turned it on silent.

"Liz I'm coming in!" A voice said from downstairs, she caught a glimpse of the person opening the door. It was Rei.

"Rei I'm so sorry I really can't go, I'll just make a bad impression and I can't believe I lied to you. I really wanted to spend the night with you and the other girls at the dance but I can't. I understand if you're mad.."

"Liz, no. I'm not mad at all! I knew you were lying all along. There's no way you could sign up now." Rei laughed.

"But now you'll make everyone upset by not going."

"And? I'd rather go on another date with you than go to the dance without you." Rei brushed Liz's hair out of her eyes.

"I'm just sorry. I've ruined this night for you now." Liz shut her eyes closed.

She didn't want to open them.

"You made it even better," Rei beamed. "Open your eyes, I want to see your gorgeous eyes. Now where should we go?"

"I think you should make the choice, Rei. You deserve it!" Liz giggled.

"We should watch the fireworks again! It was lovely." Rei suggested.

"It's raining.." Liz cried out.

"We'll make it work." Rei handed her an umbrella and they sat on a nearby bench.

Liz put a hand in front of her face to stop the rain.

She hated it, but again, all she wanted was for Rei to be happy.

Rei noticed it.

"Let's go to your favourite restaurant."

"No Rei, I want to make you happy. You didn't go to the dance because of me so let me make it up." Liz shivered as the weather started to get cold around her, and the rain hit her face.

"Rei.. What are you doing?"

Rei pulled Liz close and kissed her on the forehead. "So? Come on, can't I make you happy?"

"Whatever, we'll go.." Liz blushed.

*At the restaurant

"What would you like to order?" The waitress asked. "Wait, aren't you two the starship trainees!?"

"Uh.. You must be mistake—"

"Don't say such nonsense! Shouldn't you be at the dance? I used to work there, don't worry, I know!"

"I'd like to order steak and chips-" Rei paused.

"Same with me, please," Liz replied.

"Liz! Stop staring at me! You know people know us here, right!?"

"I'm just staring at your beautiful face. Is there a problem?"

"Maybe we shouldn't have come here," Rei muttered to herself.

"Don't say that!"

"LIZ AND REI?"

A familiar voice spoke from behind, Rei thought it was just a fan but Liz recognised it.

"Wonyoung?"

"I thought you two would be at the dance?" Wonyoung smirked.

Liz looked at Rei. "I couldn't."

"Why are you here?" Rei asked.

"..." No response.

Wonyoung looked back at a familiar face too.

"YUJIN.."
