Another girlfriend...?

Another day, another lesson, and lunch break are here as it greets many students who come out of their classrooms with relief and happy faces. While Ayaka and the μ's would always spend their lunch in the usual spot, they had to stop for a moment because of some circumstances involving Ayaka, Hanayo, and Maki. As for the rest of the μ's, they didn't come with those three because Nico said they shouldn't be bothered since it seems serious. They have no choice but to do what Nico says since they know it would be rude to interrupt something. Surprisingly, Honoka obeys the twin-tail third-year obediently without asking any questions—which surprises Umi and Kotori.

This makes Umi and Eli begin to think suspiciously about that since it is obvious that something has happened without their knowledge as it becomes more apparent. The pattern slightly became blatant, and only the dense or ignorant wouldn't notice it.

'What Ayaka-san and Hanayo with Maki would do alone? I couldn't get any better clue, except....'

Umi and Eli's eyes are drawn to Nico, Nozomi, and Honoka suspiciously. The three of them noticed and reacted differently to each other. Nico turned her head away, trying to not make eye contact. Nozomi simply closed her eyes and smiled while letting out a quiet laugh of 'Ufufu~.' While Honoka is the most obvious one since she is suddenly whistling and trying to avoid eye contact with them, too.

'Honoka is really bad at hiding it. Seems those three really have something up behind us.'

'Judging from the pattern, it is really because of Ayaka-san, but I already knew that she won't do anything bad. Maybe curious is the right word I would use. I'm curious about what she and the other girls except me, Umi, and Kotori did behind us.'

These two girls keep eating their lunch while analyzing and observing their friends' behavior during it. While Umi and Eli are like that, Kotori, on the other hand, has already figured out the current situation happening around them right now. Despite not possessing intellect levels like Umi and Eli, the greyish-brown-haired girl could easily and quickly know of it. However, she cannot tell her friends since Kotori felt hesitant when thinking about doing it or not.

'Oh! So Maki-chan, Nico-chan, Nozomi-chan, and Honoka-chan—are already in relationships with Ayaka-san. Does that mean Hanayo-chan really allowed Ayaka-san to have a harem or relationship with multiple girls...? If that is true, then that could be mean... I also could in relationship with Ayaka-san...'

She thought happily with a small smile of joy. Kotori couldn't believe what she had just found after thinking several times about the possibility. Kotori is also positive that Ayaka would have the entire μ's to be her girlfriends, which means only leaving her, Rin, Umi, and Eli, who are still not Ayaka's girlfriends.

Kotori let out a small chuckle inwardly when knowing that. She felt incredibly happy and wanted to confess her love for Ayaka, too, so she could be accepted as her girlfriend. However, she will wait until the right time, which Kotori believes won't be too long since she knows she will lose the chance if it is too long. The probability would also severely decrease if she won't act sooner or later.

'But... I don't want Ayaka-san to think I'm so desperate to confess my love for her like that. However, I also want to be her girlfriend, too. Honoka-chan seems to have already made the confession. Nico-chan and Nozomi-chan also are obvious. And, Maki-chan... she seems about to do it or already.'

She put a hand on her right cheek with her other hand below her chest, wondering what she should do about this since Kotori was still hesitant and unsure of it. Deep down, somewhere in her heart, Kotori wants to confess, but some doubt is still there. She doesn't know the right choice to make.

That's why Kotori will have to be patient and wait a little bit until she has already decided to confess her love—her feeling to Ayaka. But she knew that waiting while doing nothing would give something bad to her, so Kotori would do something bold—as in asking some of Ayaka's girlfriends about things related to love or romantic. Or, more importantly, about Ayaka herself so Kotori could have some advantage or sort of.

'That might be cheating, but I don't want to mess things up later if I made a confession to Ayaka-san. If possible, I also want to help her with something. Hanayo-chan already made her bento for everyday lunch. I don't know about Nico-chan and Nozomi-chan, but maybe they have already done something to help Ayaka-san. So far, Honoka-chan and Maki-chan are the same since I don't know what they did with Ayaka-san.'

Kotori didn't know that Nico had already helped lessen Ayaka's burden in the food category, too. Basically, there is nothing that anyone could help with since if it is related to chores, Ayaka already did it by herself, and even if she gets help, it's not that much compared to Hanayo and Nico. And that makes Kotori confused as she brainstorms about what she should do to help Ayaka.

'Umm... it's really hard when I think about it carefully. Honoka-chan is amazing at coming up with something quick and making it look easy. Maybe I should ask Honoka-chan about it? But the best choice if I want to think it would be with Nozomi-chan or Nico-chan. Or... Hanayo-chan? She is Ayaka-san's first girlfriend, after all.'

While Kotori still brainstorms about all that, Umi and Eli, who oddly knew about it judging from Kotori's reaction, could only sweatdrop as it seems too obvious and hoping that the greyish-brown-haired girl didn't make it like that.

'She really sucks about it, too, just like Honoka. And she didn't realize it herself.'

'But... knowing what happens earlier with Nico-chan and Nozomi, I would assume it is a romantic thing related to Ayaka-san... could it be...?'

Umi and Eli's eyes widened as they were surprised when they realized what had happened.
