After walking for a few minutes, the orange-haired girl arrived at a family restaurant and ordered orange juice while waiting for Nico. She then opened her phone and sent the message of her location right now so Nico would know where to look for her.

"Well, It's a better place than some gazebo, park, or something. Most of them are always located where there aren't many people crossing through, and I'm not strong enough to defend myself when some danger occurs. Maybe I should buy some self-defense tools like pepper spray, stun gun, etc."

Ayaka mumbled it while enjoying the drink she had. While it's true that she is good at sports and some, it doesn't mean Ayaka knows how to fight that much. However, she also knows the cost of buying some of those tools if she needs to carry one.

Maybe I should give this a deep and serious thought since if I did train in some martial arts or self-defense, buying the tools would be useless and a waste of money.'

While Japan appears safe for many people, especially foreigners, it doesn't mean there won't be a criminal or some cases related to that. Crime and the likes always happen in any country since no country is truly 100% safe.

After waiting for some minutes, Ayaka's phone ringtone chimed as a notification about a new message appeared, causing the orange-haired girl to grab her phone and check it. She smiled when reading the message and replied to it while waiting again.

Another several minutes passed, and the restaurant's bell chiming could be heard. This made Ayaka perked up and check if Nico and her guess were right because that person was really Nico, who had quite a big package on her. The now braided-haired and petite senpai looked around, trying to find her orange-haired kouhai and crush.

Noticing that, Ayaka typed a new message on the phone and waved her hand. After checking the phone, Nico blinked and saw Ayaka's hand waving at her, and the black-haired girl went ahead to her orange-haired kouhai's seat.

"Sorry for the wait, Todokami. I had to properly palate it, and I don't know what kind of food you dislike, so I'm sorry again if you have any in the bento I prepared."
