Day 2: Hurt/Comfort

Theo felt a little unwell, considering
that he was on a short trip with the
whole McCall pack.
He didn't even know how he ended up here, but somehow the angry, little Beta, with the beautiful eyes, convinced his alpha that it was a good idea that the chimera, who tried to kill said alpha and take over his pack, come along on their little Camping Trip.
The others were a bit sad that
it would only be two days, since it
was quite hard to find a date where
everyone was free, but Theo was a little relieved to be honest.

Now he was sitting shoulder to
shoulder with Liam in the backseat
of Masons car. Corey took over the
passenger seat, and on Liams other side was Hayden.
Theo didn't know how he felt about
that. They weren't together anymore
and decided to be just friends, but still, he was skeptical of her. Not that he would care if they still were a couple, but he somehow he had some weird protective feelings for Liam that he couldn't quite explain yet.
He just didn't want him to get hurt. That was it.

At first, it was a little awkward in the
truck, but soon, the others didn't seem
to care anymore that they once were
enemies and started to sing along to the songs that played in the radio.
Liams voice wasn't that bad.
The others were horrible, of course, but he liked to listen to the Beta next to him.

They arrived shortly after the others.
Theo was surprised at that since he
didn't expect Stiles jeep to survive the
whole way to the lake without breaking down.

"Okay, I think it would be the best if
we first built up the tents. Then we can use the rest of the time for whatever we want, " Scott suggested, earning a confused look from Malia.
"Why don't we just sleep on the floor?" she asked.
Lydia shook her head. "Nope, I'm not
doing that. It's bad enough that I don't
have a bathroom or at least a proper
bed".

"Well, I'm hungry, meaby we should
start grilling first," Stiles spoke up.
"I agree. The hunting takes at least an hour," Malia said, making everyone
look at her.
"What?" She asked, confused.
"Babe, we're not going to hunt. We
have food in the bags over there," Stiles
explained to his girlfriend.
"How boring" she said.

"Why don't we split the work?" Kira
suggested. "Some start to prepare the
food, and the rest builts up their tents."

It was complete Chaos and Theo
regretted ever joining this trip.

Somehow, they managed to actually get it done. Sitting together around a big fire, everyone was eating their food and joking around.

He didn't expect it, but he actually felt
good. He didn't really spoke much, but
he felt like he was a part of the group. No one holded back their stories or jokes in front of him anymore, and Liam was sitting next to him.
Said one also mostly listened since Stiles did 90% of the talking, but sometimes he leaned over and wishpered a historical fact that a story remembered him of into Theos ear.

Corey was laying in Masons' arms,
while Scott was feeding Kira a bite of his potato salad. Malia looked bored
but also loving down at Stiles, who
was lying between her legs and talked nonstop.
What Theo found the most funny though, was Lydia's disgusted look when Hayden told her she had
something in her hair and slowly pulled it out.
He liked this. It was like the family he
never really had.

And then there was Liam. He seemed to have gotten a little closer over the time and was looking straight at Theo.
"Everything alright?" he asked. He
probably had noticed how Theo had
looked over the whole group
"Yeah," he said, a small smile on his lips. "I feel good"
Liam smiled back like he was actually
happy that Theo was here and enjoyed it. And Theo smiled too, cause the expression made Liams eyes shine even more.
