Hey, padfoot
It's me again. It's two in the morning and I can't sleep.
Do you know why?
Do you remember when I asked you out?
God, I was so awkward when I was sixteen. But for some reason, my lovesick heart decided that that was the perfect time to tell you how I felt.
I was so nervous, I had never even tried to do anything like this before. I was convinced that my feelings were unrequited. That just made the nerves worse.
With those thoughts came the 'you're a werewolf, you're covered in scars, he's probably straight, your friendship will never be the same if you do this.' thoughts.
But while I sat on the edge of the bed panicking, you sat down next to me and asked what was wrong.
I stuttered so much that it was practically impossible to understand me, but you didn't laugh. You just watched, trying to figure out what I was trying to say.
I was so scared that I had just ended up blurting out
"I'm trying to ask your sexy ass out, Black!"You looked shocked, and then so so relieved. You said
"Thank God, I thought I was reading too much into it." After a pause, you said,"I would love to. How about we go to this tiny little coffee shop I found last week! It's amazing."Do you know that you saying yes to that is still one of the happiest moments of my life? Because it is.
It's one of the memories of us that runs through my head when I cast a patronus.
