How one day can change everything (A Robbie Kay fanfic)

Chapter 9; Back in the Netherlands

Madison's P.O.V.

Robbie is in the kitchen making dinner like he likes to do every now and then. I'm on my own in the living room of his house. I can't help herself but think back of what happened with Felix and how close his plan came to almost succeeding. What if? I can't stop thinking about it.

Some time has passed since then and we arrived back home. Vacation is almost over and soon we're gonna have to head back to school. 'What are they going to say?' Felix's words were heard by everyone in the building and many recorded it, it even came in the news. Robbie had been invited to many interviews and talk shows to explain what happened and some of the questions had been quite cruel. There was a point where he almost broke down right in the middle of a live tv show. Fortunately they invited both of us to that one so I took his hand in a way of saying that it was okay. We haven't been able to go anywhere without being recognized, it is annoying but I can handle it. I am not quite sure about Robbie though, there are some people who are really mean to him and say it is all just his fault for letting this happen.

Robbie's P.O.V.

The last time has been very hard but at least Madison and I are still together and stronger than ever. She has been through a lot and I want to do something for her.

"Dinner's ready." I exclaim while walking into my living room. Madison is sitting on the couch, lost in her own thoughts. She has that a lot, sometimes I wonder what she's thinking about. It is truly special the way she thinks and how smart and talented she is. She has matured so much over the past summer holiday without changing who she is for even the tiniest bit. Even in front of the cameras or fans she is always honest and herself. She has many different sides, there is always something new that stands out to me. How strong she can be, but also how fragile. The way her mind can wander and think of the most incredible things. How she cares so much about her fans and their well being. There is not one side to her that I don't like, they all have a certain beauty in them and it makes her the amazing and complicated person she is.

We deck the table in silence while waiting for my parents to get home. They wanted to visit Felix before dinner and so they asked if I would be okay with cooking today. When they return it looks like my mom has been crying, I hate to see her like that, she shouldn't blame herself for how Felix turned out to be.

We all eat dinner at the living room table and talk things over. Despite the heavy topic the conversation is light and we can even make jokes and lough. My parents got to know Madison better and I know they really like her.

Madison's P.O.V.

After dinner I offer to help creat the table but Robbie's mom stops me from doing so. She is very kind and I really wanted to help as a way of saying thanks for the dinner but she insisted I wouldn't.

When I came home it felt like I had been gone an eternity, so much had happened. In fact it had only been a couple of days. The first thing my parents did was hug me and try and comfort me. Honestly I found it a little annoying, I had told them everything that had happened over Skype so they would hear it from me and not from the news or anything. I was just exhausted and wanted to sleep. The next day I had a whole day of filming again for OUAT. It had been great being an actress and it was a dream come true but it was pretty tiring too.

Today had been the final day of filming and we had a small party with the whole cast after we finished. They really became like a third family (Robbie's parents became my second family) I have never been happier in my life.

"Mads?" Robbie called me out of my thoughts "oh, sorry. I was in lost thoughts again." I explained. "It's fine, but I hope you're not too tired because I have a surprise. You might want to take some time for I don't know what but we're leaving in a few minutes." "Okay, I'll just put on something a little more appropriate for going outside than sweatpants." We both laughed for a brief moment.

"Are you ready Mads?"
"Yes, coming" I ran down the stairs.
"Wauw" Robbie looked at me with his mouth open.
"Too formal?" I got a little worried
"No, it's perfect. I just, you're gorgeous."
I felt I was blushing, I could see Robbie was too. He looks so cute when that happens. He raised one eyebrow. "Let's go, I want to show you something special."
