Min-ji POV

Ha-Neul, Ji-Yeon and I  had a blast at the Halloween theme park. We had tried all the rides and attractions that were designed to thrill and chill them. We had screamed, laughed, and gasped as we encountered ghosts, zombies, witches, and vampires. We had also enjoyed the spectacular fireworks show that filled the night sky with bright and beautiful colors and shapes. After the show, we decided to do some shopping at the stalls that sold various Halloween-themed items, such as costumes, masks, accessories, and souvenirs.

"Wow, that was amazing!" Ji-Yeon exclaimed, as they walked towards the stalls. "I loved the fireworks show. It was so magical and romantic."

"I know, right?" Ha-Neul agreed. "It was like a fairy tale. I wish I had someone to share it with."

I rolled my eyes and said, "You two are such hopeless romantics. You don't need a boyfriend to enjoy the fireworks. You have us, your best friends."

"True, true," Ji-Yeon said, smiling. "But it would be nice to have a special someone, don't you think?"

"Maybe, maybe not," I said, shrugging. "I'm happy with my single life. I don't need a man to make me happy."

"Good for you, eonnie," Ha-Neul said, patting her shoulder. "But I still believe in love and destiny. I think there is someone out there for everyone. Someone who is perfect for you. Your soulmate."

"Soulmate?" I scoffed. "That's just a fantasy. There is no such thing as a soulmate. There are only people who are compatible or incompatible with you. And finding someone who is compatible with you is hard enough."

"Well, I disagree," Ha-Neul said, firmly. "I think there is a soulmate for everyone. And I'm determined to find mine. Someday, somehow."

"Good luck with that," I  said, sarcastically.

As we were having this conversation, Ji-Yeon spotted a booth that caught her eye. It was decorated with lots of ancient things, such as scrolls, candles, crystals, and tarot cards. The people who worked there also wore weird kind of ancient traditional clothes, such as robes, cloaks, and hats. On the sign above the booth, it was written "Soulmate Match".

"Hey guys, look there!" Ji-Yeon exclaimed, pointing at the booth. "I think that's what people were talking about. The Soulmate Match game!"

Ha-Neul and I  turned to where she was pointing and read the sign together. We both felt a surge of curiosity and excitement, but also a bit of hesitation and doubt.

"What is that?" Ha-Neul asked, intrigued.

"It's a game that claims to find your soulmate," Ji-Yeon explained. "I heard some people talking about it. They said it's really fun and accurate. You just have to enter a booth and answer some questions, and then it will tell you who your soulmate is."

"Really?" Ha-Neul asked, eagerly. "That sounds awesome. Let's go and try it."

"Wait, wait, wait," I  said, holding them back. "Are you serious? You want to try that? It's probably just a scam or a prank. How can they possibly know who our soulmates are?"

Ji-Yeon started to whine, "Come on, eonnie, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. We came here to have fun and I don't think it's any harm. It looks so attractive and fun. Please, please, please, let's give it a try!"

Ha-Neul looked at her two friends and felt torn. She was curious about the game, but she also didn't want to waste their time and money on something that might be fake or disappointing. She decided to be the mediator and said, "Well, I think we should give it a try. It doesn't hurt to try, right? Maybe it's just a fun game that will give us some interesting results. And if it's not, then we can just laugh it off and move on. What do you say, Min-ji?"

I tried to protest, but I  saw the hopeful and pleading look on Ji-Yeon's face and the adventurous and optimistic look on Ha-Neul's face. I sighed and gave in, "Fine, fine, let's go and see what this game is all about. But don't blame me if it turns out to be a waste of time and money."

The three of us walked towards the booth, feeling a mix of emotions. We were greeted by a man who wore a long purple robe and a pointed hat. He had a long beard and a mysterious smile. He wished us a happy Halloween and started to explain the game.

He said that we had to take a bracelet of our blood type and enter into our respective blood type booth. After that, the game would explain itself inside the booth. But first, we had to fill out a form. He handed us each a clipboard with a paper and a pen.

I asked, "What kind of form is this?"

He said, "It's just a simple procedure to keep track of how many people take part in this game. We need your name, age, gender, blood type, and contact information. Nothing more, nothing less."

I felt a bit uneasy, but he assured us, "You have nothing to worry about. We will not use your information for any other purpose than this game. And you will have definitely fun. It's just a normal game."

The three of us filled out the form and handed it back to the man. He checked us information and gave us each a bracelet with our blood type on it. He then pointed us to the booths that matched our blood type. He told us to enter the booth and follow the instructions inside. He wished us good luck and said that he hoped we would find our soulmates.

The three of us looked at each other and nodded. We walked towards our booths, feeling nervous and excited. We wondered what would happen inside and who our soulmates would be. We entered the booths and closed the curtains behind them. The game had begun.
