Yesterday went well because my cousin showed me around the school. I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I have yet to see Mystery Boy.

I haven't made any friends, but I was told I was pretty   while I was in the bathroom fixing my hair, it felt nice to get a compliment.

I'm looking forward to today. I picked out a cute outfit and did my hair pretty good. Body looking good.

I can hear "crack, crack" coming from my window.

I walk over to my window and peer through the blinds to see Blondie smirking up at me. I try to open my window, but I can't get it to open.

It's 6:30 a.m., so I can go down stairs and go outside to see what he wants.

I mouth the words door, and he walks to the front door. My mother has already left for work, so she will be unaware. I go down the stairs and open the door. He's awkwardly standing in front of the door.

"So are you going to tell me your name." I say.

"All I know is that you're my neighbor" . I raise my eyes to him.

"I'm Arthur, I've been living here all my life and I haven't seen a girl like you move across the street." As I look into his eyes, he says.

"Are you saying that because I'm black?" I immediately respond.

"Noooo no way im saying that because your pretty"

"I'm kidding," I start laughing.

"So why are you here, it's kind of weird that my neighbor drove me to school".

"I just though I could help you out, you were literally running after the bus. And you also left something in my car so I'm not some kind of weirdo". He says and my face turns red because I'm embarrassed.

"Omg I'm so sorry, I'm sorry to inconvenience you". I say.

"It's fine, I could have gave you this at school but I wanted to see your beautiful face again."

"I would like to know your name" he takes a step closer to me as we're still standing by the door.

"Im Shanti"

"A pretty name for a pretty face."

I roll my eyes. I hear that too often from men.
