About the Multiverse

A/N: Hello! Welcome to my book on Empathverse, my very own Alternate Multiverse! I've worked very hard on this, and I'm quite proud (if you can't tell already). I hope you enjoy reading about it!

I wanan start off by explaining the Multiverse and its characters, so here's a document I wrote out talking about them!

About the AM

EMV is an Alternate Multiverse, centered around the Tree of Feelings. All Sanses originating from the AM are linked to the Tree, meaning they can all feel emotions.

All Sanses can sense all emotions. The emotion they are named after, however, is the strongest emotion they can feel (E.G: Affection can feel love, kindness, or affection from others very strongly, and sometimes it can be overwhelming. Apathy can feel laziness, emptiness, apathy, etc very strongly.)

Some Sanses have a special ability to make others feel emotions for a certain amount of time (a few minutes to an hour at most). The strength of these emotions depends on the strength of the Sans.

All Sanses' souls are linked to the Tree of Feelings. If the Tree dies, they die. They can die from other causes, of course (except for Malice/Despair and Hope, due to them being the pure embodiments of Negativity and Positivity). The Sanses are all named after the emotion they feel strongest (E.G: Affection to love/kindness/affection, Craze to insanity/madness, and so on.)

When the Tree of Feelings was created, a new Multiverse popped into existence: Empathverse. Most existing AUs existed in this Multiverse (the more minor ones didn't exist). The AUs had a similar story to the ones in the main Multiverse, however they aren't the exact same.

Apathy (Classic!Sans counterpart)

Height: 5'2''

Gender: Male

Age: Adult

Eye color: Light grey.

Abilities: Sensing emotions (apathy, laziness, and emptiness are the strongest), summoning bones and blasters, teleporting.

Description: He wears a light grey oversized hoodie, with a black t-shirt underneath that. He has white shorts with a dark grey stripe. He wears black slippers and gloves. Around his neck is a grey scarf.

Personality: He's very lazy and quiet and doesn't care about much of anything except his brother, and he makes that clear. Whenever someone wants to help him, he pushes them away and says "I don't need help. Go help someone who does". He doesn't try to fight, and he'd only kill if necessary. He mostly sleeps and doesn't do much of anything else. He likes ketchup, like his counterpart, Classic!Sans.

Backstory: In the Underground of EMV!Undertale, Apathy lived several Neutral timelines, where in each one, he was the only one to die. Frisk reset and killed him over and over, about forty times, before Apathy was approached by a strange someone and was offered a way out of his universe. He didn't really care, considering he was too lazy to stop the human, and as long as nothing happened to anyone else, he wasn't going to try, but he accepted the offer, and he was brought into the Multiverse. He doesn't work for anyone, rather, he sits in a small AU where anyone can find him. He will sometimes fight if needed, but for the most part, he sits in his little AU and sleeps.
