"Okay, wait a minute," He said getting out of the car. His cold breath filled the air around me and it smelled of fresh mint. Mmm. Before I could keep fantasizing, he came around the car and stood in front of me, I looked up at him and mouthed "Thankyou". I kept my hand in front of my press and lifted myself out of the car. He gestured his hand, in mine, and I took it.
Once I had fully stepped out of the car, people were screaming his name. Jeez. This guy was really famous. More than I thought. All the screaming and his name being called started to become a blur until I heard one guy.
"CHARLES, EH, CHARLES, IS THIS THE NEW GIRLFRIEND!?!?!?"
He kept on walking as if nothing happened, and I smiled and waved. As the other people arrived, in the cars, I dropped his hand worried that people were going to see us. I don't know what to call us, but I guess I'm excited to find out later. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, I probably am, I mean I only just met this boy, and I have a boyfriend. This is bad.
But I don't even know if were together. I don't know if I want to be with James, anymore. By the time I had stopped overthinking, we were sitting down in the restaurant. Soon the table started to fill, with cousins, and family. I saw Charles wink at me from the bar, and in winked back. He smiled, and someone tapped him on the back, A blond girl who was very pretty, it looked like she knew him. Shit. Don't tell me this boy has a girlfriend. Well, I've got a boyfriend, but at least he knows that. I could only see the back of her, and Charles facing me. I saw his face drop as soon as she came closer to him. He answered her with a ton of attitude and sarcasm. And then he pointed to me. What. As I was about to ask him what she was doing the girl turned around, and she was...
"MARISSA!!!!" I said squealing.
"Y/N!!!!" She said running over to me.
We both hugged for what felt like an eternity. She smelled of fresh daisies and had the silkiest hair. God, she was stunning.
"I missed missed missed youuuu" She said beaming.
"I knowwww, how are you???? You look so pretty!" I said while smiling at her.
"So, hows James, hows the study's?" She asked me, while grabbing me to sit down. Before i could finally sit, Charles handed me a glass of champange. God. I needed that. I started to skull it, when charles pulled my arm down,
"Yeesh, you must really like this drink" He said laughing.
When i finally sat down Marissa was asking the usual, hows life, work, James. Ugh. I just want one night where i dont have to think about Jamees.
"I mean, i think were practically fine now, his drinking got worse, hes fighting with me constantly, hes always out partying, meeting up with girls, he thinks i dont know" I said rolling my eyes to the back of my head.
"But hes not allowed to, he still plays footy, right" She said grabbing a drink from the waiter's tray.
"Yeah, and he thinks that he can just slide his way around the rules, typical james" I said fiddling with my hair. I kept talking about him, until Charles sat down next to me.
"He doesnt sound like a nice fellow" He said drinking from a beer, with a small lime on the tip of it.
"Hmh, no, he is not" I said taking another drink.
About an hour had passed, and I was eating my pasta, that was amazing. Marissa had ordered a martini for me, and it was flavoured like blueberry's.
"So, have you guys met properly?" Marissa said smiling at Charles, who was death staring her.
"Yes, we have, although our family's has bad blood, i still dont know why they chose to have a dinner together" I said taking a sip from my glass. As i was talking to Marissa i felt Charles' hand glide along my thigh. He was acting like nothing was going on, and kept talking to Carlos, who was sitting across from Charles.
