Gabe and Ava walk away. Javi enters the room; Lingard is passed out in a chair and Clementine, Maddie, and Kenny are rifling through the cupboards.
Javier: Clem, Maddie, and Kenny?
Clementine: Shit. Javi, what happened to you?
Javier: Ran into a little trouble...
Maddie: Whoa. That looks like it must've hurt.
Javier: I just need to get it cleaned up.
Kenny: You surprised me. Thought you were someone else.
Javier: Thought you'd be long gone by now.
Clementine: So did I, but I still need to talk about AJ and Pippa with Lingard... and look at him!
Maddie: Anyway, I can't leave Richmond with that herd out there.
Javier: Something tells me Lingard doesn't care what you're doing.
Kenny: He's been out of it since I got here.
Javi checks Lingard's pulse.
Javier: He's alive. Poor dumb bastard.
Clementine: That's gonna need more than just cleaning, Javi. I can stitch that for you. I can't promise it'll look great once it heals. It's better than nothing, though.
Javier: You've done this before?
Maddie: Yeah, she has. (shows scar) On herself, actually, in much worse conditions. You'll be fine.
Kenny: Huh. Let me see if I can find a needle and thread for that.
Clem and Maddie groan and grabs their abdomens.
Javier: Clem and Maddie... Are you okay?
Clementine: I'm fine. I started... bleeding. I know it's a thing. I've traveled with women before, and they all had it. What is it? I mean, like, why is it-- I just don't understand.
Javier: It's totally normal. I mean, it's something fema-- women have. It's... what's next. It's not fun, I know that, but Kate manages. You'll be fine too.
Maddie: Manages? How? I'm bleeding.
Javier: It's supposed to happen. You'll be fine, Clem and Maddie. I promise.
Clementine and Maddie will remember that.
Kenny: Okay.
Javier: I can take you back to Kate. She can help you with, uh...
Clementine: Javi, worry about yourself right now. We need to find a needle and thread to stitch you up first.
Javier: Oh! Uh... Right.
Clementine shrugs.
Javi takes a box of menstrual pads.
Javier: Here we go. Hey! This is just what you're looking for. (gives box of pads to Clem) They help you handle it. Kate will... take care of you.
Clementine and Maddie are grateful.
Javi searches the medical kit.
Javier: Jackpot! Needle and thread. All sterilized and ready to go.
Javi gives the needle and thread to Clementine.
Maddie: Think I remember how to do this.
Javi takes off his shirt and sits down. Clementine pours alcohol on a rag.
