Sasuke slowly opened his eyes; they stung with the light of the sun. Oh god, his body was screaming; so was his head. What... happened? Oh yeah, Sasuke began to remember.
He looked down, and around himself. You could tell even on his dark clothing that there were huge patches of dried blood. He remembered- there was a huge scar- maybe 2 feet long that ran across his torso to his chest, small cuts that littered each of his arms, and a teasing cut on his cheek, close to under his eye. They really did a number on him; it was already a wonder how he woke up- how he was alive. Maybe there was a god- or even a reason for it all. What a silly thing to think.
There was a stark noise that stirred Sasuke out of his stupor. He looked around trying to find the source. It sounded like shuffling feet. His largely occupying thought was that it might be belonging to someone withing the organization; someone coming back to hurt him more. Sasuke wasn't sure whether or not he would be able to take that blow.
All around him was tall fence that he couldn't see around, and then of course the doors that led into the main building. It was impossible for him to guess what was happening. There was a sudden motion that caught Sasuke's eyes that he indulged in. Just over the peak of the fence, he saw multiple figures appear. Sasuke didn't recognize them, and his heart started to quicken; but with happiness. He saw the ninjas' headbands- all bearing the leaf village symbol. There were maybe 10 of them just from what he could see.
Then, another head hastened itself over the top of the fence. White fluff followed by a familiar face mask. Kakashi himself, the 6th and current Hokage of the leaf village had come to get him. Sasuke couldn't help the rare and bright smile that exploded across his face.
"Thats him." Kakashi said before quickly hopping the fence, and the rest of the ninja followed him. Kakashi ran over to Naruto. "Whatsup kid?" he asked in a cool voice. Sasuke shook his head with his sticky smile. "I'm just chillin, you know. Definitely chose this." Kakashi nodded. "Mhm. Well, if you don't mind, we're here to get you." Kakashi said.
"Oh! Yea that's good, do that." Sasuke said sarcastically. Just like that, the leaf ninja got to work, trying to work off the rope. It came off easily. "You couldn't get yourself out this, Sasuke?" Kakashi teased as Sasuke rubbed his achy wrists. "Nope. They're chakra blocking." "Ah." Kakashi hummed.
"Well, anyways, we should get moving. We got the main jonin squads inside holding us down, lots of other chunin too. Funny, your Jonin friends were very keen on fighting for you; they felt guilty or something for you and Naruto's disappearance on the last mission." Kakashi explained calmly. "Oh yeah, Naruto. Yeah, he's like super worried about you or something." Kakashi gave Sasuke a one-over. "And I am too. Those are some pretty nasty scrapes; I'd hate to see what they look like underneath your clothes."
