⋆. ⋆.ೃ࿔*.IVY HOPPED OUT OF bed quickly slipping her feet into her cozy slippers. Jack, slightly puzzled, asked her where she was off to. With a sense of urgency, Ivy explained, "I have to take this call. I'll be back in like 10 minutes!" She swiftly dashed out of the room and into the kitchen.

Sitting down, she placed her phone on the counter and eagerly tapped the accept button. "Finally!" Haylee's voice boomed through the phone, demanding to know why it took Ivy so long to answer. "Geez, you yell at me more than my own mom, Hails!" she quipped.

Jenna, curious about Ivy's location, inquired, "Why are you in the kitchen?" Echoing Jenna's question, another friend chimed in, "Yeah, why the kitchen?"

Ivy, nonchalantly replied, "Well, I was hungry, and this is my house, so why not?"

Maddy, still wiping the sleep from her eyes, grumbled, "can we get to the point so I can go back to bed?"

But Ivy's attention suddenly shifted when a raspy voice startled her from behind. "Hey, V. Are you gonna come to bed?" Ivy's eyes widened and quickly ended the call.
  
Jack, in a clueless tone, asked, "What? Why did you hang up? Was that actually your other boyfriend?"

Ivy shot him a look and replied, "It was Haylee and the them."

"So...?
 
"So... They don't know who you are. For all they know. you're just some random dude I'm hooking up with."

With an apathetic shrug, Jack rubbed his eyes and said, "Well, have fun with that. I'm going to bed." He strolled back to Ivy's room, leaving her slightly exasperated.

Sighing, Ivy rejoined the group call. All her friends chimed in simultaneously, demanding to know who that was.

Ivy laughed and said, "That was my boyfriend... ugh, that sounded weird." She made a funny face, trying to shake off the awkwardness.

One of Ivy's cat, Mr. Fitzpervert, jumped onto the seat next to her and sat on her lap. "Who is it...?" Maddyson asked as Ivy petted her orange cat.

"Uhm, it's Jack."

"Jack?!" Jenna and Maddy said.

"Jack? As in Jack Champion?" Haylee asked the girl who nodded. "Why were you hiding it?"

"I wasn't hiding anything. He asked out like on even 10 hours ago. I was gonna tell you guys in the morning. I swear."

"Okay, im sorry but im about to fall asleep, i cannot focus. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow, someone text me what happened because i already forgot. g'night." maddy said hanging up.

"How much longer is this gonna be?" Ivory asked the girls rubbing her forehead. "Can i come out now?" Jack asked.

Jenna snorted. "You had him hiding from us?" Ivory shrugged " I didn't know how you would react."

Jack walked out of the hallway and grabbed a bottle of water and started to drink it. "I thought you went back to sleep." she said as the boy sat next to her causing the cat to jump off her lap.

"I tried but I need you as my pillow." he making the girl roll her eyes as he took a sip of his water. "Gross." Haylee said to the couple.

"God, I hope you guys are using protection."
