The days following the meeting passed in a relentless flurry. Everyone seemed to be rushing everything, except maybe Shiro and Kurou himself. They both have their own reasons to slow the process down. For Shiro, it was because he dreaded the speed of the event and how it would affect him. Damage control---this is what he was. The moment their engagement was announced, all attention would be focused on him. It was only later that he learned, with Yoshihiro's assistance, that his fiancé was a rather favorite figure of the gossipmongers. Even his cousin warned him not to read any news that would come out before and even after the wedding since it would serve no purpose but to stress him out.
While Kurou didn't want to displease him anymore. He knew he couldn't be awarded sufficient time to find a new fiancé and so he must agree with Shiro. Not to mention that Shiro wasn't a bad choice. Honestly, he had scored a win upon seeing his overall appearance.
As much as he would like to rush things, there was also the matter of their contract. Shiro would like it sealed by an attorney since he wanted his freedom back. Kurou was uncertain what to feel about this. At first, he must admit, that he actually wasn't very interested in the marriage proposal arranged by his own parents, but now...
"I agree with everything you stated, except for one..." Kurou pointed to the part on the contract that he would like changed, "I should at least be able to sleep with you."
They agreed to meet in private with only Shiro bringing Yoshihiro with him as his witness and Kurou with his secretary Masaru and Shichiro his bodyguard, and of course, the lawyer, Mr. Shinichi Atsumi.
"Are you out of your mind?! Give me one good reason why I should sleep with you?" Shiro snapped and if he could be permitted, he would really like to punch the man.
"You're asking quite a lot for the favor I've asked of you. I feel it's unfair when even after divorce, you would still be remembered as my husband."
"Your first husband."
"My only husband," Kurou corrected this making Shiro stunned. "I do not intend to go through the same ordeal after this. I am never getting married again."
Shiro crossed his arms over his chest and narrowed his gaze. "All right."
"All right?" Kurou's eyes widened, and the anticipation on his face grew.
"I agree to do my husbandly duties with you. But in my own terms!"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"It means you will let me decide when I will sleep with you. This is my body and I should have a say in the matter."
This made Kurou frown. "What if the opportunity never came? You're the one who said we can never be friends. At least allow me to flirt with you. So, you can get accustomed to my touch."
Shiro's face flushed in embarrassment. The man shamelessly declared this in front of the attorney, the secretary, the bodyguard, and his cousin! "Why do you want to sleep with me anyway?" he argued once more. "You will have mistresses to entertain you. Go sleep with them!"
"It would look strange if we don't at least appear intimate in front of others, especially our parents. You're still going to be my husband and it would still be a legal marriage. Of course, I want to sleep with you."
The audacity of this man! Shiro thought. "Fine! But you must give me time. You're a stranger to me and I..." his cheeks grew pink as he didn't want to admit the next part. "...I don't have experience with such things." He whispered, trying to make his tone as low and soft as possible.
Yoshi, his cousin did his best to appear as blank as a canvas as possible. While Shichiro was barely able to hold his laughter and only stopped when Masaru elbowed him so hard, he thought he broke a rib.
