i woke up to the feeling of nothing. numb. that was all i felt.

i wanted to get up but i couldn't. there was something bothering me.

i rub my eyes which are barely open and look next to me to see josh fishing through all my drawers, with worry all over his face

he then turned around using the signal of my yawn to tell that i was awake and spoke up.

"what the fuck is this?" i looked to see what he was holding and it was a blade and some pills.

he then got closer as i wanted to get up off the bed as fast as i could and jump off a bridge to avoid this.

i backed up onto the wall as he got closer to me.

"pull up your sleeve." he demanded, his eyebrows raising waiting for me to do so.

he raised his hand to pull up my sleeve as i flinched and tears started to trickle down my cheeks.

his eyes widened as he put his hand down and looked at me with eyes of sorrow.

"babe.. i would never. and i mean never do anything to hurt you. you hear me?"

"mhm.." i mumbled while practically choking on my silent sobs.

he pulled me into a tight hug and let me sob into his shoulder.

"josh.. your favorite shirt is all wet.." i mumbled into his chest

"dont worry about that angel. it's fine. it's all gonna be okay. you're safe." he whispers keeping his arms wrapped tightly around me.

he picks me up bridal style, carries me to the bed and spoons me whispering words of affirmation in my ear getting me to fall asleep in seconds. (YOU'RE LITTLE SPOON)

"you're my love. mine all mine." he whispers his last few words as he falls asleep peacefully, knowing he's holding his dream girl tight in his arms.
