A Gift means A Lot - Dexiana

That wasn't within a week.... In my defense!!! I was busy with school, but anyways this is a short chapter and I can't promise when the next comes so hope you enjoy this one!

Okay, let's face it. Biana is probably the best baker EVER. Other than Della of course.

When Fitz said there are snacks, I thought he meant simple things, but there were desserts I couldn't have dreamed of! All of them tasted like a marshmallow, chocolate bar, and sugar had a baby. A delicious, mouth watering dessert of a baby at least.

Speaking of Fitz... well, I don't know how I feel bout him. He's really cute, but I still think he is obsessed with Sophie. I don't even think he pays attention to me. But at the same time... I just want to wrap my arms around him and never let go! Feelings are complicated okay!

"So, everyone got it?" Said Biana. "Sorry, I was thinking about something, could you repeat that?", I said, a bit embarrassed. "It's fine Linh, anyways so we are doing a gift exchange, where we will each get a person to buy something for, but nobody else knows who except you, and in a week we will exchange the gifts! Make it something meaningful, you know, to celebrate defeating the Neverseen." "So like a Secret Santa?" Sophie asked. "What's that?" We all said simultaneously. "Never mind".

"Okay, so can everyone please pick a name out of this sparkly hat", Biana said. "Does it really have to be sparkly?" Asked Fitz, annoyed by Biana's sparkle obession. "Yes, it really does Fitz", Biana replied confidently.

We all put our hands in and shuffled around until we found a name. We all looked at the same time, and everyone had a different expression. Sophie looked like she was deep in thought, but I could sense a nervous glance in the direction of Fitz, wonder if that's important. Dex's cheeks flushed with red, huh... that's weird. Mine was probably neutral. I got Keefe, cool, but what do I get him? I mean he's nice and we're friends, but I was annoyed about the whole "joining the Neverseen" thing. I'm over that now. I'm not as close to him as the others, but hopefully he likes whatever I do get him, and we become better friends!

I wonder who everyone else got? I guess we will find out next week...
