Sorry I kinda like left the Earth for 3 months MY BAD I had a lot going on.
My posting schedule is all over the place whoops
ANYWHO.... Hope you enjoy this chapter it won't take me 3 months to post the next one

"Hey Foster."

Keefe sat himself down next to me at lunch in school. He casually put his arm around me.

I had so many thoughts, I didn't answer, and I guess my face must have looked sad, because Keefe looked kinda concerned.

"Or do you want me to call you Sophie? I mean the Foster thing is getting weird now we're dating, or do you want me to call you -"

"It's not that Keefe, call me whatever you want, I'm just a a bit worried about Ro."

It had been a few months since we defeated the Neverseen, and Ro still wasn't back yet. I was scared something happened to her, or if she had been captured.

"I'm sure Ro is okay, and, between you and me", he lowered his voice to a whisper, "She might just be waiting to sneak attack me in the middle of the night, so I'm fine with her being gone for now."

"KEEFE!" I gently shoved him.

"Kidding! But seriously, she better not mess with my hair."

And on that note, the rest of our friends got to the table. Fitz averted his eyes from Keefe and I. I couldn't really blame him, but I hope I didn't hurt him too much going with Keefe. I saw Biana place herself next to Dex. It was very obvious that she had a crush on him, I cannot believe Dex can't tell, and he obviously likes her! I guess this is why people called me not knowing Keefe liked me the "Great Foster Oblivion", I still think I wasn't THAT oblivious.

"What do you think, Sophie?" Biana asked.

Oops! I was completely lost in thought, I wasn't listening to what they were saying.

"Uh, sorry I was zoned out, could you repeat that?" I asked.

"Oh, so basically, I was thinking, to celebrate the Neverseen being defeated, we could do a gift exchange! Like put names in a hat, and get the person you draw out a gift, but you can't tell anyone who you got. We would get people meaningful gifts from our times battling the Neverseen, but not the bad times, obviously." Biana explained.

"That sounds great! But when will we do it?" I asked.

"I was thinking we could draw names after school at Everglen, then we have a week to get the gifts, and come back to exchange them."

Everyone agreed.

After school, I got ready to go to Everglen. Biana said 5pm, but since the Elves don't pay that much attention to time, I had to double check with Grady and Edaline that I was leaving at the right time.

When I got there, I started walking up to the door when I heard someone come behind me. It was Wylie. Biana must have invited the others as well.

"This is gonna be fun!" I said to Wylie.

"Yeah, but what if we pick ourselves?"

"We'll figure that out", I replied.

The door opened to Fitz.

"Come on in, Biana put snacks on the table."

Sorry to leave you on a cliffhanger... next part coming within a week! maybe...
