A Gift means A Lot - Dexiana

Biana POV

I am doing this in the POVs of the different characters, but I will be adding my own touch here and there!

Hmph, I sat doing my hair, weaving it into an intricate updo with braids, and then I had a thought.

We haven't done anything to celebrate defeating the Neverseen!

Well I guess there has just been a lot going on, what with school, you know, the Elvin world still getting over the fact that the Council kept so many secrets, and that there were two rebel groups basically fighting a war.

I mean... there was also a lot of drama involving the end of the Great Foster Oblivion (I know it took forever but YESSSSSSSS FINALLY) I still do NOT wanna be like that in front of my brother because, well he's Fitz. I have no idea how he is adjusting but sometimes he comes out of his cocoon and one time I got to talk to him, well this is how it went:

"Hey Fitz, how are you holding up about the whole Sokeefe thing, I know you liked Sophie, but just saying you kindaaa sortaaa screwed it up."

"I know I screwed up, I just don't know why I was so not okay with Sophie being unmatchable, I guess it's because I don't want the family to have even more shame, like we did when Alvar.... yeah. Ugh! I just hope that Keefe will treat her better than I ever could, I mean we never really had a spark, but they just make everything seem so easy. Why is this so hard!" He put his hands on his face, tore them through his hair, then left.

I know, weird. Felt like he was talking to himself. Anyway, speaking of Fitz, I looked over at the part of my bathroom with a bunch of hair products, and no they aren't mine, they are Fitz's. Like he probably has more hair products than Keefe's dad, and out of all the extra bathrooms in Everglen, he just HAS to put all his extra products in MY bathroom?!

I'm getting off topic. I finished with doing my hair, and went down to have breakfast. My mom is literally the BEST COOK EVER. But I'm getting pretty good.

At least with Sokeefe happening I can stop pretending I have a crush on Keefe, but why would the person I really like like me? I mean he used the hate the Vackers, not so much now, and I helped him get through his Sophie crush, so I guess now there could be a slim chance Dex likes me.
