Neuvillette's

It's only a matter of seconds after my secretary left, and Navia immediately pushed me out of my office to meet Wriothesley and Sigewinne.

She didn't let me say something or even fix myself, she just told me that every seconds are precious, and that I should not let Wriothesley and Sigewinne wait.

I've been sighing so many times that I'm starting to think that it is becoming my hobby.

Honestly, I'm pretty nervous right now. I don't know what I should do or say infront of him. Hopefully I will not embarrass myself in front of them.

I look around, and when I see them, there are some unexplainable feelings that I can feel inside me. I feel like there are insects flying inside me.

Once again, I let out a deep sigh and fixed myself before walking in the direction of Wriothesley and Sigewinne.

I even smiled a little upon seeing them bond and giggle. How cute... I always thought that you would be a great father, and I'm glad to see that you really are, Wriothesley.

"Did I make you wait for too long?" I asked, interrupting their giggling session.

Both of them stop and look up to me, and without any hesitation, Sigewinne immediately comes to me and says, "Mr. Neuvillette!" She exclaims a little loudly, earning all the attention of the people around us.

Wriothesley looks at me with an apologetic look, but I shake my head because I don't really care about what other people would think.

"It's fine, no need to worry," I said before turning my attention to this little sunshine who's busy hugging my thighs. "How are you, little Sigewinne?" I asked while softly brushing her hair with my palm.

"Sigewinne is fine! Sigewinne is very excited to see you, Mr. Neuvillette!"  She answered, which made me smile.

"You can call me Uncle Neuvi. Mr. Neuvillette is way too long and formal," I said to her, making her gasp and widen her eyes.

"Can Sigewinne do that?" She cutely asked.

I chuckled and picked her up in my arms. "Of course you can."

Sigewinne giggles and encircles her tiny arms around my neck. "Okay, Uncle Neuvi!" she happily says.

I smile because of her little action. It really warms my heart to see how happy Sigewinne is. Oh how lovely to have a daughter like her.

My gaze laid upon Wriothesley who is quiet all the time. He has this kind of expression that I can't  explain. But when our eyes meet, he quickly gave me the same familiar smile. A loving and warm smile that he always have whenever we're together.

"Is that Monsieur Neuvillette? Who's the other guy?"

"It's the duke of the Fortress of Meropide."

"Who's the kid?"

"Their daughter maybe?"

"I didn't know that Monsieur Neuvillette have a husband and a daughter."

"What a lovely family~"

I quickly turn my gaze away from Wriothesley upon hearing those murmurs. I guess they got the wrong interpretation of what's happening here.

I cleared my throat, "Shall we go? I bet little Sigewinne is hungry, am I right?" I said as I turned to Sigewinne.

"Yes! Come on daddy, Sigewinne is hungry!"  She said after I put her down.

Both Wriothesley and I chuckles because of Sigewinne's demands.

"Okay, okay, let's go." He said before looking at me again, "Shall we?"  He asked,

I nod, "We shall." I answered as I felt Sigewinne hold my hand, so I hold her back. While her other hand was holding Wriothesley's and we walk out of Palais Mermonia hand in hand.

At Hotel Debord

After a couple of walking minutes, we have finally reached the finest restaurant here in Fontaine.

I've been here before due to some legal matters, and I could say that the services and foods in this fine establishment is exquisite.

"Do you happen to have a reservation here, Wriothesley?"  I asked him.

"Actually, The owner of this establishment is a good friend of mine, so there's no need for reservation."  He said as he wink at me. With what he just did, I felt my cheeks burns and I could that I'm blushing.

Am I still affected with his little flirty movements?

"Why is your face so red, Uncle Neuvi?" Sigewinne asked.

"Oh, It's nothing, it's just a little hot outside."  I nervously answered as I felt Wriothesley's stares, and a weird grin plastered on his lips.

"We should head inside to cool you down then."  Wriothesley teasingly said.

"Y-yes, we should." 

Ignoring what just happened a while ago, we enter the Hotel debord. As usual there are only few costumers dining here, as this restaurant is only open for those who have the means of fancy living.

"Please wait for me here I'll just talk to the host."  Wriothesley said and he let go of Sigewinne's hand.

I nod as Sigewinne tried to act as if she wants me to carry her, and so I did.

After I pick her up, she immediately cling into my neck, "Did little Sigewinne got tired from the long walk?"  I asked her.

She cutely nods, "Yes, Papa." My forehead creased upon hearing those words from her.

Did she just called me Papa?

"Sigewinne, did you call me P-"  I got cut with what I'm saying when Wriothesley abruptly showed up,

"Come on, let's take a sit!" He said, and he guide us to an empty table at the corner.

I put Sigewinne down on the chair beside me, and as I looked at her, she had a sweet smile on her lips.

She just called me Papa, now I'm confuse if that is intentional or accidental.

But the only thing that is clear to me is that it genuinely feels great to be called as Papa by her... Though it is too good to be true.
