"Neuvillette~" A gentle, familiar voice called that made Neuvillette open his eyes. He sits up and lets his gaze wonder around the place where he is.

Upon looking around, a small smile was formed from his lips as he saw a beautiful meadow with different flowers and grass. It is a breath-taking view for him. Truly remarkable to see.

"Is this what heaven looks like?"  he asked himself as he continued to watch the colorful flowers and green grasses swaying in the rhythm of the cool breeze.

After staring at the meadow for quite some time, he decided to get up from the grassy ground he'd slept on and continue to search for something—or rather someone.

"Wriothesley? Are you here?" he called, but he received nothing, and all he could see is an endless meadow of flowers.

Neuvillette continues to walk, admiring the view and at the same time feeling a little nervous and a bit anxious as he can't seem to find Wriothesley everywhere.

Many hours have passed and he's still not stopping. He doesn't feel like stopping as he honestly can't feel tiredness or hunger. He just walks and walks like he's just walking in circles.

"Is this what after death feels like? It's so odd."—he asked to himself again.

He continued his journey until eventually his forehead creased when he saw a house—wait, scratch that, it is rather a very luxurious house.

"Huh? A luxurious house in the middle of these meadows? Am I hallucinating?"  he said while he stared at the luxurious house in front of him.

He decided to walk into the house, but he stopped again when he saw two kids, a boy and a girl, happily chasing each other while playing with their toys.

The two seem to be of different ages—that's what comes first in Neuvillette's mind.

The scene made him smile as it made him remember his little Sigewinne, his daughter. His smile slowly faded. "I'm sorry for leaving you behind, Winnie. I'm sorry if Papa is weak," he said to himself as he didn't notice a droplet of tears from his eyes.

But then, he startled when he felt something on his cheeks, wiping away the unnoticed tears he had. "Hmm~ monsieur Neuvillette is crying again, isn't he?"

Upon hearing the familiar voice again, Neuvillette quickly turned his gaze to his side, making his eyes widen, until it slowly formed another batch of tears.

Neuvillette can't believe it. After twenty years of longing for him, he had finally seen him again...

"W-Wriothesley," he whispered in his sobs.

Wriothesley smiled. "Hi, Neuvillette," he said. This caused Neuvillette to pull him into a tight hug as he cried harder on Wriothesley's shoulder.

"I-I miss y-you! I miss y-you so much! I'm s-so glad I f-finally see y-you again, my l-love."  Neuvillette said while he sobs.

He felt a soft pat on his back. "Let go of me, Neuvillette," Wriothesley coldly said, which made Neuvillette stop, and somehow it made him hurt deep inside.

Did he hear those words right? Did Wriothesley really say those words?

"W-what?" he asked out of shock.

He distanced himself a bit to look at Wriothesley, and there he saw that the latter's face wasn't happy. The smile that he showed earlier wasn't there, as the only expression that he has now is... Anger.
