Chapter 3: The Mission

Spongebob flew through the portal into Jimmy's Lab.

"I'm Jimmy Neutron. Welcome to my lab." said Jimmy as he went up, followed by Tak, Timmy Turner, and Danny Phantom.

"This is amazing." said Timmy. "He's a giant block of cheese!"

"Timmy, SpongeBob is a sea sponge from a place called Bikini Bottom." said Jimmy. "Ah, that reminds me." He held out what looked like a deodorant spray can, and sprayed a pale white spray on Spongebob, making sure to cover his whole body. "My Neutronic Moisture Sealant will keep you moist outside of water." he said.

"This is the strangest morning I've had since... well, last Tuesday." said Spongebob.

"Wow, he can talk?" said Danny.

"Of course he can, Danny." said Jimmy. "Where SpongeBob comes from, all sea creatures can talk."

"That's amazing." Tak said.

"Right." said Jimmy. He directed the heroes to the big screen. "Tak, SpongeBob, we need to bring you both up to speed on what's happening." he said. "This all started with my latest invention, the Universe Portal Machine. It's a device that lets us travel to other worlds. Professor Calamitous has somehow gained access to my project plans and created a copy of my machine. I've been tracking Calamitous' portals and he's been visiting your worlds."

Then Jimmy's screen showed a picture of Professor Calamitous, then 4 more pictures of 4 other villains appeared, one after the other; Vlad Plasmius, Danny Phantom's arch-enemy, Plankton, the enemy of Spongebob, Traloc, the dark shaman, and last, but not least, Timmy's fairy-obsessed school teacher, Mr. Crocker.

"He's found an ally in each world and they've teamed up to form a Syndicate. He must have some sort of master plan that they can all benefit from." Jimmy continued.

"They've combined their powers to create an army of Syndicate troops and they're stealing energy from each of your worlds." he added, as images of places involving different energy sources. "We don't know why they're stealing this energy but whatever it's for, it won't be good!"

"Don't be such a science nerd." said Timmy, dismissively. "If you think about it, this is actually pretty cool! It's just like one of my games."

At that moment, Cosmo & Wanda, Timmy's fairy godparents, poofed in.

"Now, Timmy," said Wanda, "This is a lot more serious than one of your video games. We've lost our powers because of this Syndicate, and we won't be able to do anything until they're stopped."

"Yeah, Timmy," said Cosmo. "Right now, this wand is just a glorified back scratcher."

"Your holograms are right, Timmy." said Jimmy. "We must work together to stop the Syndicate. I know you've each defeated these guys individually. That's why I've brought you all here. If we combine our knowledge, we can beat them!"

"All I'm saying is, that it's exciting to work as a team and save the day." said Timmy.

"Well, now that the entire team is assembled, I think it's time to get started." Danny said.

"Let's do it, then." said Tak. "What do we do first, Jimmy?"

"Okay," said Jimmy. "Since we don't know where Calamitous' secret laboratory is, our only leads lie in each of your worlds. To begin with, let's stop them from draining the energy."

"Where should we start?" Asked Spongebob.

And Danny said, "How about Amity Park?"

"Let's go!" Spongebob said excitedly, as they raced to the portal, jumped in, and set off for Amity Park.
