What's your ideal way of waking up?

Chapter 1: Surprising Return

"She's back!" "She has returned!!" "Time for celebration!!!"

Lavender woke up to the sound of familiar villager voices outside. The sun was shining through her thin curtains, wrapping her up in a warm calming embrace with its light. The sounds of distant echoing music and yells of joy filled the air she awoke to.

She groaned, covering her head with her pillow.

Almost immediately her lady-in-waiting came in to get her ready.

"I'm up, I'm up." Her voice was a little hoarse and rough-like from just waking up as she sat up before her lady said anything.

As quickly as she came in, her lady got her up and gave her a slight push behind the changing wall. She grabbed a beautiful off-shoulder puffy sleeved dress of blue and purple, along with yellow highlights on some edges. Quite like the queen's, but with details to match herself.

Her lady went and put it on the princess, as it fit like a glove. She then fixed up her hair in a half-up half-down look, with a blue ribbon and yellow sun clips.

(Just imagine that it has a blue ribbon and the butterflies are yellow suns)

"A dress? Why so formal today?" Her voice was now to normal; smooth and alto like. The princess was confused. Sure she was a princess, but she wasn't forced to wear such a formal dress everyday.

"Haven't you heard? The princess is back." Cassandra informed casually. "Someone brought her back." She gritted her teeth this time.

"Who?" Before she could be answered she was moved to her vanity to sit.

"Flynn Rider. Or should I say, 'EuGeNE FiTzhErbERt'?" The moment Cass mentioned his name, the princess' eyes grew wide.

She didn't question more though as it would tighten the grip her lady had on her ears as she put on the earrings. They were yellow suns, matching her outfit. But regardless, why would he do that?

The Flynn Rider? The probably-most-wanted-thief in all of Corona? Did he want money? Or maybe they faked it? She would need to ask him later on.

As her friend finished up with putting on the accessories, she looked at herself in the mirror. She now had a small purple sun necklace and her princess crown.

She looked to her shoulder to see a hand holding a yellow and blue flower bracelet. Cass had a small smile looking down at her. The princess took the bracelet and put it on. She walked to the full body mirror to see herself. She was complete, like a perfectly filled canvas.
