The two guys freaked out when they heard someone else's footsteps. In a hurry, they ducked behind something, leaving the other person really confused and disoriented. "Did we just knock our boss down?" "Yeah, but it's for the best, so be quiet! Someone's coming!" China whispered-shouted at North as the footsteps grew louder. Soon, they realized who it was—the last person they wanted to see: Russia, also known as Soviet son. This made the other two panic even more inside, especially since Russia was initially distracted by his phone before finally noticing them.
"Hey, there you both are," he said as he tucked his phone into his pocket. He looked over at the other two, who were still freaking out, anxiously wishing that Russia wouldn't locate his dad and that the Soviets wouldn't recall him. Even though it's not exactly the best thing to wish for, that's not the main issue here."I can't say I'm shocked that North didn't show up, but China? You're usually here, and the one time you miss it, the UN freaked out and had to follow America's lead," Russia said. His comment briefly eased China's anxiety, but it didn't take long for him to feel frustrated again.
"WHAT!? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME HE-"
"Yes he did."
"那个贱人! The one time I'm not there to argue!!" China wanted to rip his hair out with this information. "Why didn't you do something!!?" He shouted at Russia now putting the blame on him since Russia was at the meeting and usually the two have each other's backs but seemingly China felt like he didn't. Even though they talked about it before,
Why are you putting the blame on me?" Russia questioned, growing more frustrated by the second. "I've really tried my hardest, but you need to realize that I'm not like you. You have abilities that I simply don't possess, and at this moment, no one is paying attention to what I say." Russia said this, fully aware that China already knew a lot of it. Still, that didn't ease China's worries. He let out a sigh and rubbed his temples, feeling the weight of the situation.China thought to himself that neither of them was helpful. He wanted to roll his eyes but decided to keep that to himself. While the three were chatting, Soviet, who had been lurking in the shadows, was quietly observing and eavesdropping on everything.
1. Staring at the striped red, blue, and white flag, he felt a sense of confusion wash over him. It was like he recognized it from somewhere, but he just couldn't figure out where. This left him feeling really frustrated. It seemed like everyone around him knew who he was, but he had no clue about them. He felt out of place in this strange world and desperately wanted to uncover his past and the identities of those who seemed familiar. Not wanting to just stand around doing nothing, he decided it was time to take action. Since the other two weren't making any moves, he stepped out of the shadows to introduce himself.
"Hey there?" He slowly came out from where he was hiding, causing both China and North to freak out a little. But as soon as Russia heard his voice, he whipped his head around and stared at him like he had just seen a ghost. He was so stunned that he couldn't even react. "Andddd he's totally broken," North said with a hint of sarcasm. "Russia, we can ex-"
"Dad..? How is this possible? You're really alive!" Russia felt a wave of emotions hit him for the first time, and he was overjoyed! Dad was back! He was alive, and everything could be fixed! He could bring the family back together, and Russia felt like he was saved! Without thinking, Russia rushed over and hugged him tightly. A sense of deep relief washed over him, and he started to break down as tears streamed down his face. Soviet stood frozen, glancing at China and North, feeling incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. He was practically signaling to China or North, hoping they would help him out of this situation."Dad... I can't believe this!" Russia exclaimed, his eyes shining with joy as he stepped back from the hug. He glanced at his father and noticed the unease on his face, which left him puzzled. Now that he thought about it, his dad hadn't returned the hug at all. This made Russia feel even more confused. "Dad? Are you alright...?" he asked in a gentle voice, feeling a bit scared.
"I-"
"Soviet, let me handle this," China said as Russia turned his attention to him. "Handle what??" Russia's worry grew. Was there something wrong with his dad?
"So, umm... Soviet is back, but there's a bit of a problem," China said, pausing for a moment to think. "He doesn't remember anything at all. By 'anything,' I mean he only knows his name, speaks Russian, and can manage basic tasks." China spoke gently, trying to make the situation sound less alarming. However, Russia felt his heart drop like a stone. He was both shocked and angry to find out that their father had no memories. He quickly jumped to the conclusion that China and North must have done something to hurt him. This accusation upset North, who immediately fired back, denying any wrongdoing. "We didn't do anything! The only reason he's here is that we brought him back. He was already missing his memories when he arrived!" Russia rolled his eyes a little, but he had to admit North was right. They wouldn't harm him without a reason, and so far, they had none.
Russia let out a deep breath. "How did you manage to bring him back to life?" he asked, surprised. It's not something you see every day. He was aware that they had some abilities, but he had never heard of anyone actually doing this before, at least not in his experience. "It's a complicated tale," North replied, holding up the book they used as a guide. This only made Russia more puzzled, so he figured it was best to stop questioning them.
China said, "We were on our way to the records room anyway, hoping to show him his past and maybe help him remember." This made Russia laugh. "Good luck with that," he replied, clearly amused. "You know, as Russians, we keep the records room to ourselves. There's no way we'd let just anyone in there." This comment really frustrated China, and he felt like he might just lose it over that news.
"Seriously, you guys! We could have wasted hours looking for it if you hadn't forgotten to put it in the records room. What's the use of having a records room if no one actually uses it? China was really frustrated with Russia after hearing this. Russia threw up their hands in defeat, acting like they were being arrested. "Don't blame me," they said, "blame my ancestors for starting all of this."
China sighed in annoyance, knowing that arguing was useless. It wouldn't change anything. "How about you take him with you and show him around? You might have a better shot at helping him remember than we do," China suggested, which actually sounded like a decent plan."Alright, I'm more than happy to do that," Russia said, looking back at his dad. "Okay, um... Папа, you're coming with me. Um." Russia paused, trying to figure out what to say. It was going to be difficult since his father had no memories. "Um, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Russia, and I'm your сын." This made Soviet's eyes widen slightly.
"Wait... I had a son?" The news struck Russia like a ton of bricks, leaving him emotionally shattered. He realized it wasn't meant to hurt him, but hearing his father say he didn't remember him was incredibly painful. "Actually, you have a few more kids too. But let's focus on getting you home for now," Russia said as he got ready to take his father back. Just then, a ringing sound interrupted them, making it clear to Russia, North, and China that the meeting had ended. A wave of dread and anxiety washed over the three of them.
"Uh you guys better go!!"
Russia nodded his head and basically started to drag his father away or at least trying too.
