Inspired song (Here with Me by D4vd)

"Y/n"

Tsireya sighed, a mix of relief and concern in her eyes. The sun hung high in the blue sky, casting a warm glow that resembled a new day.

"Tsireya"

I mumbled as I sat up, feeling a bit groggy.

"Y/n, don't get up too quickly."

She advised, kneeling beside me and offering a supportive hand on my back.

"He's alive, Tsireya."

I exclaimed, a wide smile breaking across my face. I sighed with relief, the weight lifting from my shoulders.

She sighed back.

"Y/n, calm down. You've been out all night."

She said, gently sitting down beside me, I continued,

"I'm telling you, Tsireya, he's still alive."

Protesting her scepticism, I insisted.

"Oh, Y/n... You saw his spirit."

She responded with caution, empathy filling her eyes.

I wanted to add more but I looked around to see no one in sight.

"Where is everyone?"

I asked with confusion.

"The sky people took Kiri and Tuk."

She revealed, her tone heavy with sadness.

Gasping in shock, I urged her to continue,

"I haven't heard anything."

"It's okay, Tsireya. We're going to be okay."

I reassured her before pulling her into a tight hug.

As I looked over her shoulder, I noticed the Sullys returning on their Ilus.

"Tsireya, look."

I said, prompting her to move away from our embrace.

Tsireya rushes to the edge of the rocks, as she eagerly waits for Lo'ak to dismount his Ilu. As he approached, she pulled him into a big hug, relief washing over her.

"Y/n!"

Kiri and Tuk exclaimed, rushing up to me. Standing up from my spot, I embraced them tightly, reassured by their familiar presence.

"Where's Neteyam?"

Tuk asked with excitement, scanning around the area.

Looking past me, her joy turned to despair as she saw Neteyam's lifeless body on the ground. Rushing over, she began to cry, tugging at his arm.

"No, no, no"

She sobbed, and Kiri joined her in their shared grief.

"I promise to bring him back."

I mumbled, turning my attention away from Neteyam.

Jake approached with open arms, his body showing signs of bruises and scratches.

"Y/n"

He said with relief, wrapping his arms around me like a comforting father figure. I fell into his embrace, saying nothing. After some time, Jake pulled away, patting my shoulder before turning his attention to Neytiri, who cradled her son.

Glancing around, I spotted Spider emerging from behind the rocks.

"Monkey boy!"

Kiri exclaimed with a huge smile. Surprisingly, she placed her hand on his chest and he held it there until Jake approached Spider.

"Are you alright?"

Jake asked Spider before pulling him into a reassuring hug.

"Yeah."

Spider replied, then noticed me on the side. Moving away from Jakes's embrace he walks over towards me.

"Y/n"

He sighed with sorrow in his voice, pulling me into a tight embrace. Kneeling, I embraced the hug.

"I'm sorry for your loss."

He uttered softly, his words carrying a gentle sympathy.

"He's not lost."

I exclaimed passionately.

"I know I sound crazy, but I saw him, Spider. He's still alive. And I made a promise to him."

A moment of silence ended as Spider processed my words.

"Y/n... are you sure?"

He questioned, his concern evident in his gaze.

"I'm not delusion or in denial."

I asserted with conviction.

"Just know that I'm here. So is Kiri, Lo'ak, Jake, and Neytiri if you need anything."

Though it was challenging for everyone, aside from Kiri, to believe me, I was determined to fulfil my promise to Neteyam and bring him back. The night of the funeral marked the beginning of my journey to bring him back.
