Chifuyu Matsuno wasn't sure how it had happened.
He wasn't sure how he found himself in Hawaii, dressed up as a fancy waiter for an even fancier restaurant.
"They aren't going to buy it." He muttered, tugging at his necktie, "they know who I am."
"You're the least recognisable out of all of us," Mitsuya pointed out, readjusting his clothes.
Chifuyu scanned his companions before shaking his head with a dejected sigh. "You and your stupid tattoos."
Taiju rolled his eyes from behind the steering wheel, "you're not alone in there, so don't worry."
"Please Chifuyu. This is the best shot we have at getting (Y/n) back." Kazutora murmured from the passenger seat.
Chifuyu wriggled uncomfortably in his leather seat before nodding with pursed lips.
For Baji, he thought. He would do it for his best friend. "Wait what do you mean 'I'm not alone in there'?"
Taiju just gave a small smirk, pulling into a luxurious building.
"Woah." Chifuyu couldn't help the small exhale that fell from his lips, "this is a restaurant?"
"Bit much, don't you think?" Mitsuya murmured as his artistic eyes scanned the architecture, wishing he had brought his sketchbook.
He had to remind himself he wasn't here on a holiday.
"So, everyone down with the plan?" Taiju grunted as he heaved an unconscious, bruised and beaten Hanma from the trunk.
The group stood in the lobby of the restaurant, Hanma over Taiju's shoulder, Kazutora nervously playing with his earring; a soft chime filling the room as Mitsuya, Draken and Chifuyu revelled in the rich building.
"Draken!" A voice called, and the group turned to see two males hurrying towards them.
"Smiley? Angry?" Draken's brows raised in disbelief.
Chifuyu shook his head as they greeted the twins, "can't believe that when you said I wouldn't be alone, you meant I'd have the twins with me."
He couldn't help but feel relieved as he embraced Angry, a good friend of his, "it's been a while Chifuyu. How's it goin?"
"Good, good. I got the pet store up and running, how about you? You're obviously doing alright."
Smiley laughed and wrapped an arm around his brother, "head chefs of a three Michelin star restaurant in Hawaii? I think we're doing more than alright."
They weren't given much time to exchange pleasantries before Taifu grew impatient, smacking a hand down on Hanma's back to get everyone's attention. His eyes narrowed as the group turned to him.
"We're wasting time."
..
.
"Hello Chifuyu," Kakucho murmured. He was told that there would be a contact inside the building, but for it to be Chifuyu Matsuno as the maître d' of a luxury restaurant in Hawaii; He was a little taken aback.
To his credit, Chifuyu said nothing in return, simply glancing at the scarred man, before turning his attention to you.
You were halfway through your glass of wine - the third of the evening - and you were drowsy and ready to return back to the mansion to sleep. The prospect of eating leftovers so you didn't have to cook in the morning excited you as you ran a hand over your tummy.
"Someone might need to carry me back," your head lolled back, "I think I've eaten myself into a food coma."
Mochi chuckled, his eyes darting back and forth between you and waiter, "of course sweetheart. We'll get a bath running as soon as possible for you."
